When I took my van into the service department to have a 60,mile check and service completed the technician asked me what I wanted done I thought that was a little weird considering there are specific things that Chrysler/Dodge say need to be completed I was a little disappointed when he gave me this look as though he had no idea what I was talking about
I also had an issue when I asked them to take a look at the video entertainment system in my van I was told it would be $to take a look, which I thought was a little high but I figured the wire that needed to be replaced couldn't be all that much more so I agreed When I called to get the status on my vehicle, I was told that the screen was shot and they don't actually work on entertainment systems Wait, what? Why didn't they tell me that when I asked if they could take a look at it? Basically they charged me $to tell me it was broke! They didn't even tell me what the problem was Just that they recommend replacing the entire system Thanks!
So when I do finally go pick up the van, whom ever drove the van out of the service garage, left the trash in the vehicle and put the radio on full blast As a service member who suffers mildly from PTSD it was more than a little startling and I found it to be unprofessional, disrespectful and rude
Lastly, the times I have taken my vehicle to get serviced here they inform me that they will call when the vehicle is finished Funny how each time I call to get a status, or hours later how the ticket "just got back to the desk" and they just hadn't had time to call me yet One time is ok, two times is a coincidence and three times is a trend
Bottom line; I would not recommend this service center to anyone and will be making the drive to Russellville, KY next time
Word of warning!!!!!! If you have or know of anyone who has purchased and has a loan at First Industrial/Gary Mathews Motors they will screw you over
Even if it is to different contracts and one has nothing to do with the other you are screwedI had two different loans one was a sale the other a loan two different payments different payments books (both on vehicles)makes no differenceIf you wreck and your vehicle is totalled do not let the insurance send them more than the payoff on that vehicleIf you do they will keep all the money and say both contracts go together Plus they are in the process of liquidating they will take candy from a babyBut in my case Christmas from my grandchildren
