Good afternoon,I am responding in response to case number *** and a customer of *** ***.The desired settlement was a check for the difference in what he owed on his truck that he sold us in the amount of $4,The problem occurred with a lack of communication between a member of my

To Whom it may concern          The repair on the sunroof for Ms. [redacted] has been completed. The sunroof drain was clogged and was cleaned by our service department at Hyundai. In reference to the cracked seat cover it has been explained to the customer...

that this a part that is on back order with the manufacturer (Dodge). We call the Dodge store every other day to see if the part has arrived. Furthermore when I learned of the issues the customer was having we put her in a rental for two days (at no cost to the customer) until the sunroof was repaired. Also a refund has been mailed to the customer for the tag fees, if she has not received it we would be happy to send a new one and stop payment on the original. Ms. [redacted] purchased her [redacted] Nissan Maxima from Ferris Chevrolet, Inc. on September 4 2013.The Autocheck report on the vehicle did disclose the unibody damage, and we disclosed this information to the customer  Please note that this damage was disclosed...

as the result of an auto auction inspection.  It is not the result of any insurance inspection or disclosed accident.  The disclosure was made on5/22/2009.  The vehicle had a mileage of 34102. Ms. [redacted] purchased the vehicle over 4 years later. The vehicle had been driven in excess of 50,000 miles since the disclosure.  Whether or not it actually sustained Unibody damage is not evident with the information that we have at hand.  As soon as Ms. [redacted] presented to us that the vehicle was having difficulty in shifting we made it a point to bring her vehicle in and doall that we could to resolve her issues.  We ultimately replaced the transmission.  The repair work was sublet to a local repair facility thatwas better equipped to work on a brand that is not in our product lineup. According to our records the vehicle was brought in with further transmission complaints that we were not able to duplicate.  The facility that did the repairs had another transmission ready to install.  They test drove the vehicle as well and were unable to replicate the complaint.  As such, nofurther repair work was done to the transmission.We have made every effort to satisfy Ms. [redacted].  In her complaint, she states that we did not uphold our warranty.  The signed buyers guide fromthis transaction states that we will be responsible for 15% of power train repairs for a period of 30 days or 1000 miles subsequent topurchase.  We went well beyond our obligation to try and resolve Ms. [redacted]’s issues.Another dealer’s trade appraisal is not relevant to value at the time of sale.  However, our records indicate that Ms. [redacted] had paid $8248.50 plus taxes for the vehicle, not $10,000 as stated in her complaint. We are not receptive to Ms. [redacted]'s resolution proposal.

[redacted]I just got through speaking with the Gap company that held [redacted]s contract.  His refund should be to him within 7-10 business days.  That will come directly from the Gap company, not the dealership.  The employee that was requested to handle [redacted] cancellation is...

We will contact [redacted] in order to set an appointment to attempt a correction to his concern.
To this point we have addressed concerns that were not a previous condition of sale, and we have corrected concerns that were not a part of the warranty...

that transferred with the sale of this vehicle.
We have shown a willingness to assist this customer, and will continue to do so.
