on 9/16/14 I went to einvite.com note they had come pills for 0.00.I ordered 13 and order cancel by the company stated system glitch not their faulton 9/16/2014 I went to www.einvite.com at night,as I was looking for some invitations and items for my weeding I notice they had some pillows for 0.00.I ordered 13, paid shipping. Received confirmation email along with order# and that my orders will be shipped soon. Notice credit card charged and everything was ok. The next day I received an email confirmation advising orders were cancel (no reason) and they offered a 10% off on next orders as an apologize. I call einvite and I was informed orders were cancel because there was a system glitch that day where pillows were showing at 0.00 but it was a mistake and they have corrected their price reason why order was cancel as they do not give away items for free or at a low cost. Representative stated the pillows are $65.00 ea which my total should have been for $845.00. I advised representative on the phone it was not my fault the company faced a system glitch and I should be honored what I purchase as I have received a confirmation email and order# and company needs to be responsible for what have happened. Representative on the phone said they will not honored what happened and they just were canceling all orders for who ever purchase those pillows. I had screen shot of the computer that night with the advertisement of 0.00 only needed to pay shipping. Orders cancel and I was left with no solution but to a 10% discount on my next purchase which is not satisfactory.Desired SettlementI will like for my order to be process as it was originally placed or a decent store credit. We experienced a website error last week that inadvertently changed the price for eight of our pillows from their normal [redacted] retail to [redacted] At some point during the evening, the error was discovered by a "deal" website, and the price was posted as a promotion. We at eInvite did not create the post or promote the [redacted] price as a special. Upon discovering this problem, we immediately notified all customers that had placed an order, refunded any shipping charges, and offered a coupon as an apology. Merchandise advertised at a particular price and company not honoring the advertised price.I ordered pillows that were advertised at a $0 price on [redacted] I was responsible for the shipping which I paid. Company cancelled my order stating that the items I ordered were out of stock. I then checked the website and items wee in fact in stock. I proceeded to call customer service and was informed that the promotion was not honored because they sold more at the promotional price than they had planned for. The system allowed me to purchase these items at the that price. Therefore, it is not my fault that there was an error with their system. Unfortunately, after several attempts the company continues to refuse to honor their advertised price. My order,numbers are #XXXXXXX and #XXXXXXX. She never stated that is was a mistake. Whether promotion or mistake, company should honor the advertised price as it is not my fault that their system allowed me to purchase these items at that price. I have worked in retail for several years and the customer is always right. Especially when it comes to advertised prices be it a mistake or not.Final Business Response Thank you for your feedback once again.
