To whom it may concern,
As owner of G.LCaissie Ltd., I would like to respond to the complaint ID # regarding being billed for an extra hours for the installation of a mini-split
As the complaint mentions, the client was in to pay his bill before we had time to prepare
the bill and the office person accepted the payment as the budget quote and not the actual job priceThe error here was that the actual bill should have been made before payment was acceptedWhen *** *** directed the sales person to write "Paid", this person wrote paid on the budget estimate that said: "This quote is budget only" and matched the amount paidWhen actual bill was made, it ended up being more hours
All this being said, I am willing to bite the bullet for the extra hours and design a quote sheet on my end that must be signed by the clientsThis will ensure that they understand that this is a budget estimate only and the price could be more or less than the budget quote
Hoping that this is satisfactory to the client
