Hi Mrs. ***As hard as we try we know not every customer is our customer.Sometimes we fail and other times we try to hard, however we always try to better ourselves at what we dothen something like this occursMaybe I am in the wrong or maybe not? I hope I do not sound rude or
arrogant, I will try to be factual.I have read your complaint and reveiwed the facts to such.I believe you have a total of visits? The first of your husband dropping off the scarfs on11/28/at 3:32pm The second upon your pick up of your order on 12/01/at 5:45pmThe 3rd on the return of one scarf on 12/02/at 4:07pm(receipt copies attached)I also believe when your husband called and spoke to *** to let her know about your complaint on a chemical smell of the scarfs on 12/02/mid morning She was instructed to let him know (as she did ) that we would be glad to inspect the scarfs to further see what the problem was and re-clean them all, at your convenience, no chargeThis was the very first step to your complaint. We are a wet cleaning plant and Greenearth plant which emphasises on no odor of garments So we need to see where the situation or problem is and verifySince we cleaned over a few hundred garments the same day as your scarfs It is concerning to see that yours were the only ones affected or complained about..However your bringing in the one scarf ( it was a reddish orange acrylic scarf) its process would more then likely be wet cleaning We smelled it and it did have a very slight scent of being worn , however no chemical smell? We do question why the other scarfs were not brought in? We truly wanted to see them to verify their process of cleaning , if wet or dry cleaned?We understand that some people are more sensitive then others .This is important since we clean for some customers who choose us due allergies , cancer, sensitivities to dry cleaning chemicals etc..When you spoke to Perla you had mentioned to her that your scarf smelled like carbon dioxide? It is interesting how you chose that chemical to use as a odor?(carbon dioxide is oderless) As she also mentioned that the Greenearth has no smell in comparison to the other dry cleaners she has worked atI wonder if you meant carbon monoxide? A plastic bag will trap such odors in a certain environment.Now as for us using to much (liquid silicone) Greenearth solutionThe garments that are dry cleaned are submersed in a lb dry cleaning machine and tumbled (as a example) washing machineSo too much is obsolete, to much would make no differenceWe do not overload our machine with clothes either, they are weighed to max 85lbs .Dry clean machines are expensive and I need it to last as long as possible. Odor would be caused by impurities in the system by failure of improper cleaning and or maintenance of the dry cleaning machineThis machine is and has daily cleaning, distillation and filtration on a per load and daily basisI am not saying it is impossible, sometimes things get stuck and a burp occurs along the plumbing just like usCausing a odorHowever this is a very rare occurrence Hence we wanted to review your scarfs of such a possibility?If there were to be residue of the Greenearth on your scarf it would have a mineral oil feel to it of insufficient reclamation (drying)Your scarf had none. We want you to be satisfied and we guarantee our workHowever we find it unfair that you want a full refund on the basis of just one scarf as proof (which we did not find a chemical smell nor did the customer we asked to smell it did either ) Also the scarf you brought in was a wet clean item type Water and the detergents used are odorless for such.We feel we attempted to satisfy your complaint and apologise that we did not reach that for youHowever we feel that you did not give us sufficient proof to verify a full refundI am also sorry you had to make the extra trip from your place to ours and understand the inconvenience.
