We are sorry this incident was blown out of proportion but as you can see by the police report (attached) there was no crime or intent of a crime
Since the customer decided not to respect our policies, we decided not to do business with her
Initially we determined that the best way to handle this issue was to drop it however, upon learning that this person called the *** *** *** and made accusations of assault against one of our team members we decided to bar her from the restaurant to avoid future problems, and this is what upset her even moreWe have consulted with our attorney and he advised us to just drop this issue and put it behind usHe also advised us not to issue any refunds since we are not at fault
We have been serving the Golden community since we have not had any issues as critical as this

This situation is being pursued and will continue to be until it is resolved because it certainly was NOT blown out of proportion, the owner was not there and that is why I am now coming to the Revdex.com for help
The owner is choosing to protect his son instead of do the right thing, he didn't even call me to see what happened and apologize! Did he watch the security videos? They should already feel impelled to provide a refund for horrible customer service but also because I as a customer was not able to enjoy my food purchase which was squished and ruined! Is it nowhere in their "policy" to provide a standard of customer service? Since when is it ok for a staff member to get physical with a customer?
To clarify what ACTUALLY happened, I called the cops immediately on site while the incident was occurringTechnically the cops could not press charges because *** "did not intend to hit my stomach or hurt me" and no marks were left but the act still happenedWhat makes it worse is that I am pregnant so to me, it is all the more offensive! Nowhere on premise does it say that burritos must be consumed elsewhere and are not allowed on the patioNEVER have I heard of a restaurant with a policy where you can purchase food but must immediately leave the nearly empty restaurant with itI didn't make a mess so they can't use the bussing the table excuse as "loosing money"
Also, the owner fails to mention here that hours later THEY chose not to drop it (after I left, I did the right thing by writing a private message to the owner explaining what happened asking for a resolution) because after they received the message THEY called the *** *** to have me trespassed! Clearly it is the business that is blowing this out of proportion for not just handling it immediately by placing a simple phone call and instead going so far as to have me trespassed and contact their attorney
I don't accept their response because it isn't a matter of "fault", it is a matter of customer experience and service and I didn't get to enjoy the food I purchasedThis aligns with *** *** ** *** standards and other amazing restaurants in the area standard of practice for an enjoyable experienceI also believe in doing the right thing and am thankful the Revdex.com exists for this reason, someone needs to hold bad business practices and their staff accountable so things like this don't continue to happen to others
