I apologize for just now getting to you about the complaintI have been going through a very nasty divorce and I've had to take out a protection order against my wife this week because of itI work from home and I haven't been able to be in my home for the last weeks until todayI found the letter, opened, and in a pile of mail that was in a box in my garage today.That being said, I can have a full response to you no later than Monday March 6th regarding this complaintI will have to go through and get all the relevant information and documentsHowever, below is a short summary of where I stand.In short, [redacted] is under contract to complete the repairs per the insurance scope of lossTheir claim was approved and a deposit was madeSince then they have not allowed me to complete the work even though I have offered to do so on at least different occasions, nor have they been willing to accept the 10% cancellation fee per the terms of the contractTo date, I have not received a notice of cancellation in writing via electronic or traditional mailAt no point have I told them I wasn't going to refund them their deposit or have they explicitly cancelled the contractThey have also written blatantly and damaging reviews about my company on Angie's List and the Revdex.comThey have also emailed me with threats of lawsuits since writing those reviews even though I have given them the following optionsAllow me to complete the repairs per our contract(attached)Send a notice of cancellation in writing(email or traditional) and I will refund them their deposit minus 10% of the contract total and the cost of any repairs already completed.Again, I apologize for responding so slowly and I assure you there will be no further delays on my part regarding the situationI will have everything to you by the end of the day MondayThank you for your time and I look forward to working with you to resolve this issue
