We have a gift card for this restaurant and no one at the restaurant knew how to run it through. We were told the gift card machine is broken and it only sometimes works. No where prior to our meal were we made aware of this. It seemed more like they did not know how to run it through rather than a machine issue. They did not offer any solutions, just asked us to pay another way and said “it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.” It’s only for $25 but that’s still $25 that the company has stolen from the person who bought this for us. It can also only be used for this location and there is no customer service contact, we can only call the restaurant where this occurred.
Dear to ***: Hi! My name is Karina V I am president of the El Limon Corporation, I want to start this letter apologizing to you because of the situation you had with our gift cards. I want to let you know that in fact yes, our restaurant in Ardmore has being having a lot of issues with gift cards and this does not have to do with the employees not knowing how to used them. It could off being handle another way instead of asking you to paid cash. All our gift cards are valid in all of our locations, even though some of them just have a "Valid Only" sign. Those are really old gift cards when we started the business.
Now let get to the solution, I understand that you are upset because you want it to use your gift card and I will be happy to help you out. If you want your money back is okay, I will just need to get the gift card and returned the money. Or if you are one of our current costumers and you know you can used it in any of our locations that is fine as well. Let me know!!
