CONSUMERS ORIGINAL COMPLAINT
"hours of presentation" - I'm sorry that the presentation took a full hours that is very rare and only seems to happen when the client have a lot of questions or are signing up to purchase some of our
products
"...will be using your products to show results." With this statement, I'm assuming your upset that we presented our products during the Home Care Product Presentation We feel it would be a waste of everyone's time if we didn't show you our products when you chose to participate in our advertising presentation
"wasted food by using as a tester." Yes, our employee would have asked to use a small piece of fruit or vegetable, to illustrate how food can taste better when washed with pure water, or how chlorine can be absorbed by food The average Canadian household throws away 15-30% of their produce every year If you feel the small piece we used was too much please call the office and we can reimburse you
"...have employees provide their own...food..." With the rise of the Brown Recluse Spider found in produce, we have decided as a company to not allow our employees to bring fruits & vegetables into peoples homes More importantly, due to allergies being an actual threat, we don't want to jeopardize anyone's health by bringing food into a clients home

to me, ***We do not train our Representatives to tell our potential clients the city water is bad In fact we train them to speak highly of City of Edmonton and EPCOR for doing a great job
EPCOR makes sure on a daily basis, the people in Edmonton and surrounding areas have safe drinking water

There's lots of evidence that shows these water softeners and filtration systems are available for less than 1/of what your selling them for Not only are your selling tactics deceptive but your products are way overpriced Scaring people into buying your systems is one more burden on Alberta's struggling economy that we don't needYour "lottery ticket" method to get in the door is a far cry from being legitimateIf you Google companies like yours there's numerous examples of it being a scamI'm not trying to "strong arm" the Revdex.com but after doing very little research its clear that companies like yours have been scamming people out of their money for some time

Our company is not scaring people into buying anything The media scares the public on a daily basis, and we just supply a solution Most of our client purchase because they are already looking for a way to improve their water

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Attached is a copy of the inbox on facebook, dated April [redacted]. In this email, Joel B[redacted] is apologizing and promises to pay me back.  In addition, he promises to call me with a new phone number. There you would see my response where I said thank you and it sounds great.  I inboxed him last week to ask about my refund status as his restaurant is open and creating revenue.  Joel did not respond until I requested clarification on his sister's false claim.  As you can see in his response, there is legal issues with his business.  He is trying to clean house and promises me again to reimburse me $550. You will also read that I attempted to resolve this in a friendly manner.  I want to know why I can not get my refund of $300 as promised.  I paid the extra amount on March [redacted].  His business is open.  Joel B[redacted] is the owner and he should respond to what happened on March [redacted] at his restaurant.  I eagerly await your response to this issue.  Thank you for your sensitivity on this matter.  Your response is greatly appreciated.  Should you have any further questions, or need clarification, please contact me at ###-###-####.  Thank You, [redacted].
Sincerely,
[redacted]

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE RESPONSE THAT I SENT TO [redacted] VIA FACEBOOK (including pictures of the event) WHEN I GOT NOTICE THAT SHE POSTED HER COMPLAINT ON SOCIAL MEDIA & SHE DELETED EVERYTHING WITHIN 5MINS AFTER MY RESPONSE TO HER POST…. First & Foremost I am taken aback by such...

an off-based & distasteful post…[redacted]) personally accommodated you and your family on my day off (2days before the event took place with no prior notice). You/[redacted] & my brother Joel B[redacted] had a verbal/Facebook arrangement to close OUR Family Restaurant from 10am-4pm on a Saturday for $300. No written contract, No Receipt of Sale, No Mention of You. Our rate for renting the space for a private event is $1,000 for 4hrs…When you got light, again, via "Facebook" that Joel was "sick" you called the restaurant crying in hysteria that you could not reach him. I shared with you that he in fact [redacted] & made no mention of you or your event. You said you understood because you were very aware of of his history of drug abuse. You also shared that you've personally had to deal with family and friends all your life fighting the battle of drug abuse and drug addiction. You asked me if I could help? You said you had family traveling abroad. It was your daughter's Sweet 16. I told you I would not charge you the going rate of $1,000 however I could do it for $300 because of the state of urgency you were in (mind you, you stiffed me for $50. and only gave me $250. which I made no mention of) [redacted] helped to make your day go seamless and joyous for all involved…In addition to the above, when I spoke to you serval times leading up to your event (called me on Thursday your party was the immediate Saturday) you were gracious and thankful. two (2) days later event day, we met for the very first time. You hugged me, you thanked me, you introduced me to your family, you offered me food, you offered me the first souvenir for helping your daughter's Sweet 16 go off without a hitch. You decorated, you partied, you danced, you took pictures, you used our tv's to do a slide show and yet again thanked me for making this very special day happen. You introduced me to your husband who hugged me tight and thanked me as well….fast forward 3wks later, you call me, you screamed at me, you cursed me out, I asked you to please stop but you did not. You said I ROBBED you, when in fact you ROBBED me of the kindness that I extended to you and your family…Please note [redacted] with your passive aggressive nastiness, you can NEVER take away my generosity of kindness because it's embedded in the core of my soul and that is why I was able to make your day happen without fault….Best regards on behalf of my El' Mondays Family and Myself. THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND ACCURATE… PICTURES SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS. I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO ATTACH SOME, HOWEVER I WILL BE SENDING THEM IN THE MAIL TO PROVIDE VISUAL CONFORMATION...

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

On November [redacted] I visited El Monday's with my daughter, [redacted], ###-###-####, to have lunch and meet with the owner, Joel B[redacted].  He agreed to rent me his restaurant for my niece's sweet 16 on March [redacted].  We greed that I pay him $150 and the remainder before the set date.  I gave Joel B[redacted] in my daughter's presence $150 cash.  This is the post on FB confirming that I rented the space for said event I was presented with a challenge. I was in need of a rental space for my niece's sweet sixteen. I attempted to rent through a few venues. Their prices were unaffordable, and not sensitive to our needs. After praying on it, my prayers were answered. We now have a space for rent for her special day. Thank you Joel B[redacted], owner and chef of El Mondays. Joel B[redacted], may God bless you with your act of kindness and compassion. He has opened his heart and his doors to hi...s restaurant for my girl's special day. This is the place to eat and feel at home. For sure Joel B[redacted], has demonstrated that he can continue to excel and succeed and still have a humble heart that serves the needs of others. Myra will be so happy. It takes someone special to hear special needs and not hesitate and say yes. If you are in a similar circumstance, as I was, this is your man, Joel B[redacted] ! I will spread the word to my special needs families. Please do the same!, This post was public.  It was also to promote his business. I revisited his restaurant with my mother in law on Dec. [redacted].  I gave Joel the remaining balance of $150 in cash.  Olga Negron was with me when this transaction took place.  Her number is ###-###-####.  I also discussed with Joel on this date the time I needed to get in to decorate.  He said I would be allowed entry at 10:30 am and that I could do as I wish at the party.  I reminded him that all I required was the space as I was providing everything else.   I spoke with Joel on March [redacted] to confirm our set up and time.  He said he was looking forward to it and we were all set.  I got on Facebook on March [redacted] to read his post where he said he was admitted to the hospital.  I called his phone and was not able to communicate with him.  I called the restaurant and his sister, Honey answered.  She told me her brother robbed me, that he informed no one of the event.  She went further to add that he is a drug addict who has been using all of the money from the business for drugs and included in that was my money.  She also said he is not the only owner, but also his brother Hakim, who I had no knowledge of.  Joel appears to be sole owner on facebook and media.  Honey reassured me that she would talk to Hakim and see what they could do.  I sincerely felt betrayed, deceived and sad all at once.  Honey did call back as promised, but would only accommodate me if I paid the full amount again.  I agreed with no other option.  I could not disappoint my autistic niece, who I also have custody of.  The event took place under great strain.  I was robbed of the joy of that special day.  I paid Honey the $300 in cash in front of my daughter and husband.  Again she apologized for her brother's behavior.  I expressed genuine concern for him because addiction is a disease.  She said she had no idea where he was at this point. I realized Honey did what she had to with what was in front of her as I did.  I only want Joel B[redacted] to pay me the amount that was not agreed on.  This conflict is for the owner who made an agreement with me.  Since then, Joel continue to ignore me, but had his girlfriend texting and calling me at random hours of the night with insults.  When left with no alternative I posted on Fb my unpleasant experience with his restaurant which I have the freedom to do so.  His sister, Honey took to calling and attacking me, as so did his girlfriend.  When I made it clear that it is Joel who should be calling me and had to threatened them with the police for harassment, then Joel called me. Joel says he was hospitalized and his family is trying to steal his business.  He said they changed the locks, denied using drugs, apologized and promised to pay me back $550 as soon as he cleans house.  I thanked him for his response, this was last week.  I only want the amount that was not agreed on.  I don't want more than I paid.  It appears that Joel B[redacted] is the owner of El Monday's .  I eagerly await to hear what his response is to this matter.  I am sure he will agree this is what happened.  Honey is not the owner and yes I was kind and thankful as she was apologetic toward her brother robbing me.  The slideshow and everything in that party was all provided by me, the food, music, slideshow, decorations, cake, music, beverages.  There was not a server available to me. We also cleaned up the location and returned it at 3:45.   Also the post I put on Facebook describing my experience, I took it down after Joel called me and apologized for what his family did to me.   Thanks [redacted]
