El Patio Motel

Review: We checked into a room at the El Patio Motel that had 2 double beds with our 2 daughters ages 4 and 6. We checked the room for cleanliness immediately. It smelled terrible of urine and dogs. The sheets and blankets on both beds were very dirty and covered with hair and stains. A dead bug was found in one of the beds. The sink in the bathroom was barely attached to the wall and felt like it might fall off at any minute. The shower walls and tub were covered in hair. There was a dirty washcloth on the floor under a rusty heater in the bathroom. There was mouse droppings in all of the drawers and a syringe wrapper was in one of the drawers. The floors were clearly not vacuumed. We found a used snuff (chewing tobacco) pouch on the floor. There were huge food splatters on the walls. Our room connected to two other rooms, one on each side. The doors to these rooms were very old and didn't look safe. We called the front desk upon arrival to move to a different room but were told there were no other rooms available. We were 2 hours from home with our small children so we could not leave. When we returned to the hotel later that evening, there were NO parking spaces and we were forced to park in a dark, muddy alley that was very scary for us and our children. Over the course of the night, there were people screaming and children crying in all of the rooms around us, including the rooms we were connected to. This motel has a bar connected to it and there was a strong smell of beer/liquor as soon as you would walk out the front door. The main door to the room looked like the lock had been ripped off and not replaced. The electrical outlets were hanging out of the wall. I do have photos on my phone of all of these complaints.Desired Settlement: I called the front desk in the morning and requested a refund. The desk clerk said he would relay the msg to the manager. I was later notified I would receive a $27 refund (the total cost was $100.57) I called back to speak directly to the manager and had to call at least 10 times before I got to speak to the manager. He told me he would inspect the room and call me back but I never heard from him. I tried calling him back twice since then to no avail. I would like a full refund on this.

Review: The Motel Did Not Have The Heat On In Any Rooms. I Paid For A Jacuzzi Suite But Was Not Able To Get out Of The Bed To Even Use Bathroom. It Was In The 30s Last Night And Had No Heat And A Thin Blabket To Stay Warm. Had To Go Sit In Car To Warm up.Desired Settlement: Refund Or Credit For Future Stay When heat Is Turned on
