Mrs.*** was contacted yesterday, so that we could get to the bottom of this misunderstandingUpon researching a three day window to determine the exact date that the transaction occured, the Merchants copy of her receipt was locatedAs a result of the comparrison of the receipt and the POS
record of this transaction it was determined that the server who entered the credit card information entered $instead of $for the tipWe feel that this was an error on her part, with no ill intentIn response to the managers response to Mrs*** when she called to report this situation it seems as though there was a communication issueThe manager misunderstood Mrs*** claim that the transaction took place on 5/18/Upon researching the sales for 5/18/there was no sale that matched the allegation.(He at that time became suspicious that there was a scam in the works) And that was the case because the transaction took place four days prior on 5/14/2015.*** ***, a partner in El Saltillo Ceder Lake Road, was very upset about this situation and is taking measures to prevent this type of situation from occuring againThe employee has been reprimanded and placed on notice.Mr.*** has offered Mrs*** a refund of the Entire transaction, $69.60, as well as a gift certificate for two meals in an attempt to compensate her for her trouble

As the one of the owners of this restaurant, I [redacted], sincerley regret the event that transpired on the night of Febuary 10, 2015. We have been in business at this location since November of 2006, and have served over 1,500,000 satisfied customers. My partner and I have addressed this...

complaint with not only the two employees mentioned, but also with our entire staff at all of our locations. We appreciate that the [redacted] took time out of their schedules to bring this to our attention and sincerely hope that they never have another experience like this.
