Server tried to scam us out of money and ran our credit card for a different amount than what was originally given to us. We just had a server, [redacted], try to scam us out of money. He asked for payment before we had a chance to really look at the receipt (but luckily saw thetotal). He secretly added gratuity after he took our card and ran the card for a higher amount. When he brought the credit receipt our total suddenly jumped up and asked for an additionalgratuity. We asked about it and got an itemized receipt which said we had 6 people in our party when we only had 2. I tried to ask the girl at thehostess desk and she didn't respond. I called later for a manager and no one ever answered. What a dishonest thing to do! I called multiple times that evening and no one answered. I called the other location and spoke with a manger who told me she would have the other location's manager get in touch with me. It is not about the money, because we were planning to tip more until we found out what he did. This is stealing money from customers. Desired SettlementI hope that they will correct the problem immediately. I am very upset and expect a manager to contact me or I will absolutely be disputing this with my bank given he charged my card more than the original total. I also expect them to see how many others were affected by this server. I would expect that immediate action be taken against the server also, because he is stealing money from customers to benefit his own personal gain.

I visited El Toro Loco Mex Bar and Grill on 04/15/2015. The establishment gives cards that the customer may redeem when the card is completed with punches as required. The problem is when the card is presented the establishment comes up with ways not to honor it. It clearly state that the customers is entitled to receive one dinner at half off or one free lunch (free entre item maximum $5.99 and dinner $8.25). First time I tried to use the card I was told that since I had exceeded the $8.25 I could not get a discount and charged full price. The next time I tried to use the card I was told what I had order didn't qualify as an entree and charged full price again, the problem here is I had witness a friend ordering the exact same thing several times. Another time I had a take-out order and it was done incorrectly, when I brought it to the server's attention he just said, "ok" and didn't refund nor replace.
