Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Please see the attached receipt He claims he never processed our payment He says in his own email that he refunded the deposit right away Looks like Mr [redacted] is not telling the whole truth to the Revdex.com?? Maybe bending the truth a little to make himself look better?? We had a reservation at another place prior to booking with Mr [redacted] When he accepted our reservation and accepted our deposit....we canceled our previous reservation I asked Mr [redacted] to help us find another place I never heard back from him I had to call him again that evening to ask for his help.....I got no help from him He acted as if I should feel sorry for him...that he had never made a mistake like this in years That is when I got angry My wife and I had taken our vacation time We had paid for the cancellation fee of our previous reservation His response was "I might be able to give you a little discount in the future" All I heard from him was how this had never happened in years.....it was all about him While he is talking about poor him....we are left without a place to stay on our vacation No Solutions or help from him ever came.We were left without a vacation We paid the cancellation on another unit I lost a small deposit on a fishing trip.If Mr [redacted] "s solution is to bash an honest customer because of his mistake.....that's ok I will leave my reviews of business practices around town for others to beware of More than a few people through the years will read them and decide to stay at another place Regards, [redacted]

On Sept20, I received a call to rent our Country ChaletIt showed on the internet that we had vacancy for Sept24, & 26, After talking to *** *** on the phone we took a reservation for the daysSeptto leave Sept27, I took the credit card number but never
processed itLess than hours later we realized that we had these days already bookedIn fact it was booked on July 25, I do not know how we made this mistake but I immediately contacted the ***s both by phone and by email(a copy of the email is provided below.) I tried to explain to Mr*** *** what had happened. He only wanted to know how much I was going to pay to book another place for himI knew he had waited to the last moment to book ours and the chance of finding any vacancy in Door County for the weekend he wanted was not going to be goodI offered to check other places but he was so unreasonable it was uselessHe keeps referring to money he lost but he never lost any money to meWhatever else he booked that he could not get a refund for was never disclosedI felt that no matter what I did or said was not going to change unless I give him money for my mistakeWe have owned this rental for years and never had any issues before.Thank You,*** ***On Tuesday, September 22, 2:PM, *** ***
