Extremely frustrating company to deal with Pacific Blue Cross made an error in setting up a disabled family member's new extended health plan after her father's death (the father being the original plan holder via his employer) Even though the family provided Pacific Blue Cross with the information required to identify their error, they were either incapable, or unwilling, to recognize that an error had been made, much less correct it Instead, each person the family corresponded with, both verbally and via email, kept giving conflicting and inaccurate information and excuses as to why the disabled family member's brand new extended health cards were not working Pacific Blue Cross then went on to falsely blame others including the Pharmacy (sending the family running back and forth to the Pharmacy based on information) and the deceased father's employers for the non-functioning extended health card Once they had exhausted those avenues, they would try and send you back to where you began to start all over again Pacific Blue Cross never was able/willing to recognize their error The family had to finally get the deceased father's employer involved in order for Pacific Blue Cross to recognize and correct their error Even then, once that was done, a litany of additional errors continuedPacific Blue Cross sent important correspondence related to the disabled family member's extended health care plan to an invalid address of the father who had been deceased for months, even though they had been supplied with the disabled family member's current address by the father's employer and the disabled member's family This, and additional errors by Pacific Blue Cross, caused another round of complications with the apparently corrected plan and member cards, causing the disabled family member's prescription coverage to be cut off after her very first claim All in all it took almost months, over emails back and forth, the deceased father's employer becoming involved, and a great deal of time and frustration on the family's part, to have this entire mess sorted out to a reasonable degree Dealing with Pacific Blue Cross has been one of the most negative experiences this family has experienced in doing business with a company

This company is just another scam out thereTo rip youOur plan was cancelled in 2014, yet somehow they are still covering claims made by a third party the drugstoreThe person I talked to today indicated that this whole thing was my fault because I did not notify the drugstore our coverage was cancelledI asked her "why if [redacted] knows my plan was cancelled why are they still reimbursing the drug storeI have no way to know that [redacted] is paying this outThey should have just refusedBut now they want and the letteri got before this one indicated that they wanted I phoned about the first letter and was assured that this was their fault and I did not have to pay it as my account was obviously closed alreadyIt was their fault then that they paid out on an account they knew was closedSo now it is my fault and I have to give them moneyOn the statement I got today it clearly says "these expenses were incurred after your extended health care cover

Extremely frustrating company to deal with. Pacific Blue Cross made an error in setting up a disabled family member's new extended health plan after her father's death (the father being the original plan holder via his employer). Even though the family provided Pacific Blue Cross with the information required to identify their error, they were either incapable, or unwilling, to recognize that an error had been made, much less correct it. Instead, each person the family corresponded with, both verbally and via email, kept giving conflicting and inaccurate information and excuses as to why the disabled family member's brand new extended health cards were not working. Pacific Blue Cross then went on to falsely blame others including the Pharmacy (sending the family running back and forth to the Pharmacy based on false information) and the deceased father's employers for the non-functioning extended health card. Once they had exhausted those avenues, they would try and send you back to where you began to start all over again.
Pacific Blue Cross never was able/willing to recognize their error. The family had to finally get the deceased father's employer involved in order for Pacific Blue Cross to recognize and correct their error. Even then, once that was done, a litany of additional errors continued. Pacific Blue Cross sent important correspondence related to the disabled family member's extended health care plan to an invalid address of the father who had been deceased for 5 months, even though they had been supplied with the disabled family member's current address by the father's employer and the disabled member's family. This, and additional errors by Pacific Blue Cross, caused another round of complications with the apparently corrected plan and member cards, causing the disabled family member's prescription coverage to be cut off after her very first claim.
All in all it took almost 3 months, over 40 emails back and forth, the deceased father's employer becoming involved, and a great deal of time and frustration on the family's part, to have this entire mess sorted out to a reasonable degree.
Dealing with Pacific Blue Cross has been one of the most negative experiences this family has experienced in doing business with a company.

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by El Valle Restaurant regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

I cannot see how a company can trust Pacific Blue Cross for their health provider/benefit management. Everyone in the company is extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with the service. There is no mechanism to handle out of British Columbia case. The employees have no motivation at all to resolve any issue. They will tell everyone for weeks even after 8 weeks that your claim has not been processed or resolved. That is not acceptable. They are not accepted in many pharmacies Across the countries. We have no confidence that our claim will be processed even after 3 months now. I can't reached anyone in Pacific Blue Cross that is willing to help. My clinic said the people that answered them are rude.

This company is just another scam out there. To rip you. Our plan was cancelled in 2014, yet somehow they are still covering claims made by a third party the drugstore. The person I talked to today indicated that this whole thing was my fault because I did not notify the drugstore our coverage was cancelled. I asked her "why if [redacted] knows my plan was cancelled why are they still reimbursing the drug store. I have no way to know that [redacted] is paying this out. They should have just refused. But now they want 350.00 and the letteri got before this one indicated that they wanted 650.00. I phoned about the first letter and was assured that this was their fault and I did not have to pay it as my account was obviously closed already. It was their fault then that they paid out on an account they knew was closed. So now it is my fault and I have to give them money. On the statement I got today it clearly says "these expenses were incurred after your extended health care cover
