I am responding back to the complaint concerning my business
I need to state first and foremost that this home was built in 2005, ten years ago. The original
complaint was dealt with approximately within the first year, and rectified to the best of my knowledge at that time, and never reported to me that there were any other issues until most recently, years later. Client called recently to say that she thought that she wanted some metal diverters installed in the roofI questioned her about the time-frame since the first issue was years agoShe stated that it seem to be okay until this past year. I told her that it would not be covered by warranty and that the original roofing contractor, was no longer in business (Retired)I called another roofer for her and asked if he would look at it for her and I told him I would forward his information to her so she could call him regarding this. So I texted the Client and gave her the phone number and contact of this roofer. However, I feel the Client wants it covered under warranty, which the house was built with a one-year warranty at the time and is well over that time frame and no longer under coverageI always try to work with past clients on home issues, however ten years later and never any reported issues until now, I feel this is beyond my responsibility and I have tried to help the Client by contacting and forwarding her to another roofer
