Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/08/12) */ This complaint does not accurately reflect the series of events with this tenantWe made best efforts to respond as rapidly as possible, both with our maintenance team, and with our appliance vendorsWhile in certain cases, this timeline was outside the tenant's wishes, we tried to communicate that certain things take timeHowever, communication with this tenant was difficult at times such that our efforts to explain when we would be entering for maintenance, how he could use his shower in a limited fashion, and our fair offer of compensation for the issues he was facing went unheard

I am rejecting this response because:I have text messages and call history on my phone proving otherwise and multiple witnessesAlso my roommate has called the line and there was no emergency maintenance LineI refuse to pay rent to live in a house that's degreesI complained before my day noticeI tried breaking my lease early because nothing ever gets fixed in a timely matterI added a picture of my bathroom after he "fixed" it and also for her to say I never called back is a lie I called and left a message I have the proof in my call history

We recognize that Ms [redacted] has had a series of unfortunate issues with her residence, many of which have come with complications that have provided large hurdles to their timely resolution We believe we have worked diligently to resolve these issues as rapidly as possible given their complexities and have attempted to maintain positive communication with Ms [redacted] despite her obvious frustrations with the issues

I am rejecting this response because:It should never take months to fix the downstairs a/c unit and months to fix the upstairs a/c unitHad they hired a professional reliable company from the beginning we wouldn't be where we are todayThe told me the rest of the house was functionalWho in their right mind would stay in a house thats 90+ degrees muggyI had originally reduced rent by days (because it took them that long to give me window units) what they don't understand is that the window units only worked in the room they were inthe rest of the house was hot and muggyI have stressed this to them numerous times but they're not comprehendingAfter finally fixing the a/c units, they only offered me the remaining days of rent free + the original days I had deductedBecause "the rest of the house was functional" it was not functionAT ALL! now the stove hasn't worked since 08/28/Thats days todayThats days that I wasn't able to cook in the home due to no oventhats days of eating out and spending more moneyThey ordered the wrong oven and it doesn't fit in the spotthey have to pick the oven back up and exchange it for the right onethe ceiling is still not repairedIts just one problem after another and my family and I can't catch a breakWe're not comfortable in this houseWe haven't felt relaxed since we moved inWe're prisoners in this houseAt the end of the day, elbrus management will take their time fixing all the issues in the house while my family and I have no say in anythingA breach of contract was when we moved in and it took them months to install smoke detectorsI have every form of communication saved and loggedI have pictures of everythingits just simply not fair that my family and I have to live like thisMy husband and I dished out so much money instead of trying to save

We have worked diligently with Ms. [redacted] to deal with the various issues that she has raised over time as well as other issues such as the locks/keys issues. We believe that our team has communicated as best as possible through challenging issues and that our team has tried to maintain the level of...

professionalism that we expect from them. We also recognize that, in stressful situations, communications can be interpreted in various ways by the different parties involved.

I tried breaking my lease early because nothing ever gets fixed in a timely matter. I added a picture of my bathroom after he "fixed" it and also for her to say I never called back is a lie I called and left a message I have the proof in my call history
