Review: I went to the Truckee Home Show on May 25, 2014 and visited a booth for Eldad Enterprises. It was my first time looking at flat irons and I did not know anything. I purchased a Herstyler platinum zebra flat iron kit for $237 and was totally scammed for the following reasons:Eldad told me the titanium flat iron was best for my hair and that the titanium flat iron was only sold as a kit. I told her I only wanted the one flat iron, but they said it only came as a kit, so I had to buy 2 other items I did not want. I called HerStyler later and they said the titanium flat irons do not come in kits. The platinum zebra kit I bought is ceramic.Eldad said it was lifetime warranty. HerStyler website and rep said 1 year warranty.Eldad also had a ceramic iron that they used on my hair at the show. It had a heat control. They said the one I bought is better because it is titanium and the heat auto adjusts to my hair. The HerStyler rep said the flat iron in the kit is not as good as the ceramic with heat control. There is no auto adjust.Eldad gave as a gift the Argon oil and hair masque, which they said each sold for $85. I found it on Amazon for about $10 each. The same kit I bought sells on Amazon for $60.I have called the number provided by the Truckee Home show over 5 times and left 2 messages. I did get a hold of someone who rushed me off the phone saying she would have the people from the show call me, but they have not for a week now. I found two locations for that business name in Chico and Redding and called both numbers. Both were disconnected.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund. I did not get the product they said. They told me it was titanium and lifetime warranty. It was ceramic and 1 year warranty.
