I write in response to your letter dated February 21, in regard to a complaint filed against Elden Collision Center, assigned your ID # [redacted] .Review of the facts stated by the complainant requires us to inform you that this is a grand misstatement of the facts surrounding this issueThe actual facts are as followsOn 2/15/the complainant brought his vehicle to our shop and requested that we replace the rear catalytic convertorWe removed the exhaust system to carry out the work and observed that the entire exhaust was in poor condition and there was evidence that attempts had been made to band aid it at several pointsA picture of the full exhaust system that was removed is attached for reviewGiven that we were not engaged to do any work other than replacing the rear catalytic converter we worked on the rear half of the exhaust where that converter is locatedAt no time did we have cause to, or worked the front of the exhaust or the front converterAs such we did not do any damage to the front converterWe told the complainant these facts when he returned to our shop and claimed that we had damaged the front converter,However, notwithstanding the fact that we are not at fault for any damage to the complainant vehicle and in keeping with your suggestion that the parties should try to resolve issues outside of the legal system, Elden Collision Center is prepared to settle this issue with an offer to pay the complainant the sum of two hundred dollars towards the amount claimed to have been spent to purchase and install a new front catalytic converterThis will be done upon delivery of an original paid receipt for the work stated to have been done to replace the front converter and a written statement from the complainant to the Revdex.com and Elden Collision Center that the issue has been settled to mutual satisfaction and the complaint is withdrawn and removed the review for [redacted] , This is a good faith offer that is made by Elden Collision so that the company can put the issue to rest and move forward with full attention to its business activities,SincerelyHossein P [redacted]

I write this follletter in response to your letter dated March 6, in regard to a complaint filed against Elden Collision Center, assigned your Case ID # ***In this letter you state that the complainant informed you that he visited our shop to accept our good faith offer of $under the terms we documented in our prior letter to youThese included that he would provide an original paid receipt for the purchase of the converter at $plus $labor for installation. When the complainant came to the shop to settle the matter he presented an invoice dated July 27, for the purchase of a front Catalytic ConverterWe questioned the fact that he came to our shop to replace his rear converter on Feb15, and he was giving an invoice dated July And that it was within a few days after we completed the work he came back and claimed that we had damaged his front converterWe opined that his purchase of the new front converter back in July indicated that he was aware at that time there was a major problem with his front converter to the extent it required him to go out and purchase a new one to replace itIncidentally the cost of the converter purchased was $134, not $as he claimed in his complaint (a copy of the invoice is enclosed)Also, he did not provide any evidence of payment of $for labor charges nor did he provide the written statement that upon receipt of the $he agreed to advise Revdex.com and Elden Collision that the complaint was withdrawnWhen we pointed out the contradictions between the facts he now presented to support what he claimed in his complaint he got upset and stormed out of the shop.It appears the complainant knew since July his front converter was bad, the vehicle had no emissions inspection certificate when he brought it to the shop, He came to us to change the rear converter because it was badly justed and required specialty tools and labor to remove itAfter our job was done he replaced the front converter, presumably with the one he purchased in July 2016, then a couple of days later shows up with the old front converter that was removed claiming that we had damaged it while working on the rear unit and this necessitated him to go out and purchase a new front converter.Again we categorically state we did not work at or near the front converter when changing the rear and we did not do any damage to the front unit in the process of our workWe made a good faith offer to settle with the complainant so we could put the matter to rest and concentrate on our business activitiesIn return the complainant was expected to provide true and correct evidence to support the expenditures claimed to have been incurred subsequent to the time we worked on his vehicle. As an aside we mention that it appears this complainant is constantly filing complaints against businesses alleging poor service and quality of products or work, We attach for your perusal a couple of complaints posted on one of the popular social media websites, Sincerely, Hossein P*** Owner/Manager
