Elden Dattage Towing may have been a great business when Elden operated the business but his son Lance is a hot head and threatens customers with fees and charges to force customer into paying their high prices and price gouging. I offered to pay for the over charged bill and deal with it later in court and then Lance stated he only takes cash. So I guess another way to cheat on taxes. So I guess if you call them you might want to have 2500 cash in your pocket or the prices just keep going higher.
Another important factor here is Lance says he can charge whatever he wants whenever the Sheriff calls him out. So that indicates he has two price points. One for his customers and another when the sheriff calls him as he now can charge whatever he pleases. Well, I am reporting him to the towing commission, Local Authorities and filing suit. If you do not want trouble then don't call them. Oh I suppose it would only be fair to share 2.5 hours of work equals a $2500.00 bill.

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: Attached is a photo of my telephone documenting the call received from the American Recovery Service Incon September 30, at 3:pm (central time) As you can see, the caller ID indicates that the caller was ARSI and the call originated from ###-###-#### (all of which are assigned to the American Recovery Service, Inc.).Please forward this information to the ARSI representative for them to further investigate.You might also ask that they search their database of accounts for anyone who may have listed my telephone as a possible contact Regards, S [redacted]

Per MsJ [redacted] 's complaint, ARSI did have to wait a period of 7-business days to allow for the clearing of the funds to satisfy the judgment and release the lien The payment was made on March 21, Once ARSI was sure that the funds had cleared, ARSI had to request the local law firm to prepare and file with the court the Satisfaction of Judgment, which was done on April 10, ARSI continued to follow up with the firm to ensure that the satisfaction was filed as soon as possible It is beyond ARSI's control other than following up with the firm to get the Satisfaction filed any sooner MsJ [redacted] will receive a copy of the Satisfaction in the mail and by way of this response, as it has been attached here Three weeks' time is not unreasonable to expect a Satisfaction to be filed with the court in consideration of the time to allow the funds to clear and the firm to prepare and file it

MsC [redacted] assertion that the account was set up under the tax ID of Royal Blue Marketing is not correct This American Express merchant account was set up under J [redacted] 's social security number It has no connection to the tax ID number for Royal Blue Marketing Firm There is dual liability between the company and the individual ARSI will not take direction from anyone else other than Ms [redacted] regarding the handling of this account unless Ms [redacted] advises that she has given such authorization to another party

I am rejecting this response because: The Royal Blue Marketing Account with Amex merchant processing was set up under the Tax ID for Royal Blue.Though J*** *** and *** C*** share ownership of this company and were both listed on the amex account, the company is the primary to paySince the company is not closed, it is improper for them to seek money from an individualARSI was told not to ask J*** for any money personally but they persistedARSI failed to offer a regular payment plan and persisted to ask for one payment even though I told ARSI I was expecting a wire but it had not come int yetThey advised not to worry cause if it did not go through the first time it would come back for a second timeThe wire did not come in until late and both attempts for payment failed This advise from ARSI is improperI contacted Amex and advised that I did not want to deal with ARSI any more and would pay amex directlyAlso that they kept speed dialing our office and bothering J*** when we asked them not to, since the account was set up under the tax id not J*** or myself individuallyWe are paying Amex directly and do not want to hear from them anymore because they act unethically.Thanks

This account has been closed back to our client, Dex Media. American Recovery Service Incorporated ("ARSI") will make no further attempts to collect on this account. If the customer has any further questions, please have the customer contact Dex Media directly

Ms. S[redacted] did pay the settlement on July 13, 2015 on the judgment owed to ARSI’s client, Citi.  Our client requires that no action be taken to file a Satisfaction of Judgment or any Release until fourteen (14) days of the final payment to ensure that the funds have cleared.
ARSI has directed...

the law firm of J[redacted] Block, LLC (“J[redacted]”), to file the Satisfaction of Judgment, which was done via mail on Monday, August 24, 2015, with the Madison County Circuit Court, Commonwealth of Kentucky.  The Release of Lien will be filed as soon as possible.  There is a delay in this filing as J[redacted] was unable to obtain the book and page number or file date of the lien and the court will not provide the lien information over the phone and requires a written letter requesting a copy of the lien that includes the lien information. J[redacted] has mailed out that request and will file the Release of Lien as soon as the firm has that information.  Unfortunately, nothing can be done until this information is received. 
ARSI has advised Ms. S[redacted]’s attorney of the same information as well and Ms. S[redacted] should contact her attorney for any further information.

ARSI apologizes for any inconvenience it may have called in inadvertently dialing this customer's phone number.  Both phone numbers have been blocked from being able to be dialed out from ARSI as of October 1, 2015, the date ARSI was made aware of this complaint.

ARSI has thoroughly checked phone records and there is no indication or record of either number being called.  We have blocked the ability for either number to be called.  ARSI does not use an auto-dialer and all numbers are manually dialed only.

entirely possible that another company is "spoofing" ARSI's number in attempts to contact this consumer, but it is not ARSI.  If there continue to be calls to this consumer, we would need specific information as to when these calls are being received as our systems do not show any calls being made to either number, ###-###-#### or ###-###-####.

American Express placed the merchant account for Royal Blue Marketing Firm (“Royal Blue”) with ARSI on May 20, 2015 for collections.   J[redacted] is the owner of Royal Blue and is personally responsible for this account balance.  Ms. [redacted]’s social security number is tied to...

this account.  V[redacted]e Mc[redacted] was the collector assigned to this account.  Ms. Mc[redacted] continued to attempt to contact Ms. [redacted] because although Ms. [redacted] is a VP of Royal Blue, she is not personally responsible for this American Express merchant account.  It should be noted that Ms. C[redacted] is also the contact person on another account with another company on a merchant account that was placed with ARSI for collections that was also assigned to Ms. Mc[redacted].  Claims of calling almost every day are due to Ms. C[redacted] being the contact person for multiple American Express merchant accounts being handled by Ms. Mc[redacted].
Ms. C[redacted] attempted to make a payment on the balance and had set up a check on June 25, 2015 for $100 to be ran on June 29, 2015.   That check came back as non-sufficient funds.  Our client requires that we obtain payment by certified funds to replace the check that was insufficient.   Ms. Mc[redacted] was attempting to contact Ms. C[redacted] in order to get payment resolved on the account.  As Ms. C[redacted] was not providing payment on the account, Ms. Mc[redacted] had to continue to contact Ms. [redacted], the owner of the company and the individual ultimately responsible for this account, in order to secure payment on this outstanding balance due to our client, American Express. 
It should be noted that ARSI received a call from a detective on August 11, 2015, on behalf of Ms. [redacted] possibly investigating Ms. C[redacted].  It appears that Ms. [redacted] may have filed a police report alleging Ms. C[redacted] took this account out under her name. 
In addition, ARSI has spoken with American Express and there has not been any payment arrangement made with Ms. C[redacted] on this account and there has not been any payment received by American Express on this account as of this date, August 14, 2015.
