The customer was contacted and the return policy explained. The return policy states that a receipt and the box needs to accompany a shoe return which the customer did not have at the time. After speaking with the customer, a decision was made to send a new pair of boots to the customer at no charge. The customer was very friendly and appreciative. The complaint concerning the negative assistance from the manager involved was dealt with at the store immediately. The manager on duty may not have understood how to look up customer credit card information to find a receipt, but is now informed on how to assist and who to contact.
