AFTER REVIEW OF THE SERVICES OFFERED I HIRE A PERSON FROM THIS AGENCY NOT ONLY DID THE PERSON NOT SPEAK ANY ENGLISH. THE ACENCY NEVER FOLLOWED UP ON HOW HER VISITS TO THE PATIENT WERE GOING. NO CHECK INS NO FOLLOW UP. I DECIDED TO HIRE ON MY OWN. WHEN CONTACTING ANN AND ASKING FOR MY REFUND WHICH I WAS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT OR NO SERVICE TO BE HAD. $284 DOLLARS WAS
SUBMITTED BY ME AND IMMEDIATELY DEPOSITE. IN MARCH 2020 I CONTACTED ANN AND TOLD HER THAT ELDER CARE SERVICE WOULD NO LONGER BE NEEDED AND TO REFUND ME MY DEPOSITE WHICH I WAS TOLD WAS 100% REFUNDABLE, TO DATE I STILL HAVE NO REFUND. aND THIS ACGENCY SHOULD BE LOOKED IN TO. THEY ARE OFFERING SERVICE TO ELDER CARE DEMENTIA PATIENTS AND HAVE NO CREDENTIALS.
THE PEOPLE THEY HIRE MAY NOT EVEN BE LEGAL TO WORK IN THIS COUNTRY. THIS AGENCY SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. I WOULDN'T LEAVE MY DOG WITH THEM.

I would like to address the complaint that was made by ***. Elder Home Care serviced her mother starting on 9//2019 for 5 to 6 hours a week. Elder Home Care requires a 2 week deposit but we never received the 2 week deposit in the amount of 284.00. We received a check for $284.00 for payment for services. I will attach the appropriate paperwork to you tomorrow Friday 4//2020 due to working from home because of the pandemic. As far as the complaint that the aide did not speak English the caregiver that we placed on *** mothers case was requested by *** and she met her prior to us placing her on the case. I want nothing but a solution to this case and Elder Home Care will refund *** what she is owed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
to date I have not recieved my deposit of $284. which was a deposit and not paid for services. I feel this agency should be inspected to confirm people are legally working under them.
There is no reason not to refund a customer upon a dissatisfied complaint. The agency conducts NO follow up to check on people. Ther suupose to be a caretaking service.

Good Afternoon,
Please see attached paperwork that was sent to E. Saint-vanne. The documentation included copies of the checks that Elder Home Care received from Filomenia Iannucci and *** Saint-Vanne and invoices. As well as a refund check in the amount of $92.00. The deposit that was given to Elder Home Care was in the amount of $184.00 not $284.00. If there is any other documentation that E. Saint-Vanne has I would like to review it.
I have also attached a copy of the caregivers valid authorization card a letter from her lawyer, drivers licence and HHA certificate and a statement from our HR representative Josephine Contreras that met with *** Saint-Vanne before services started.
