I'm not really sure what the issue with the car is I checked with our service dept and they don't have a record of the car coming back in for issues My Sales Manager did say the customer came in the dealership a month after purchasing and asked us to buy the car back because they lost a job or something., But after month, we have paid sales tax and transferred title, so it's not really possible to buy the car backWe have a day return policy, but month is well outside of that

We think this is resolved We have Mr [redacted] scheduled to come in on Saturday to get the repair done We apologize for any misunderstanding about the work being completed the other day We will get it completed to satisfaction

I am rejecting this response because: the dealer was told specifically not to run my credit through all those different placesI was assured they would not and low and behold inquiries on my credit reportAnd of course you won't reject anything because nothing will be coming back to you it will be going to all the finance companies that you all used in order to close this dealI think this is very unethical and has put me in a very difficult positionThis would be different if I had not stated this to the salesperson but I didSO do I have to reach out to each company myself? If you all were the ones that gave my social to all these different places then you all should be the ones who reach out to them to have it removed

We bent over backwards to help this customer.  We picked up the car, delivered it and fixed the issues on December 14’th.  We even gave him $515 for his trouble and to make his first car payment.  We didn’t hear from him until 12/31 when he inquired about his plates. And to my knowledge we haven’t heard from him since.  If there are still issues, we can look at it again in either our Cedar Park or Buda store.  I’m not sure what to say, it seems like we bent over backwards to help the customer and we fixed the problem.

I am sorry there were a few issues with this vehicle.  My understanding is that we resolved them as quickly as possible and that they are now resolved.  My understanding is that we also gave the customer a loaner car while the repairs were being made. We sell thousands of vehicles and...

now and then one has an issue. We would never knowingly sell a vehicle with problems, but sometimes issues come up after the sale.  In this case, we addressed it as quickly as we could and gave the customer a loaner while the work was being done.  I think the repairs have been done and the issue is  resolved.

[redacted], I am very sorry for the issue with your vehicle. We go to great lengths to make sure we don't sell vehicles with frame or structural damage. At the time you purchased your vehicle, we used Autocheck to verify the vehicle history and the Autocheck report did not show any history of structural...

damage.  But we recognize that the vehicle has had some repairs and the Carfax report now shows that it had structural damage at one point.  As I understand it, the basis of your complaint is that the Carfax report says the vehicle had structural damage, which is potentially lowering the value of the vehicle.   Although the vehicle, in our opinion, has been adequately repaired and is safe to drive, I would agree that the presence of that “Structural Damage” line on the Carfax could lower the value of the vehicle as a trade-in. I know you have been talking to our Sales Manager, [redacted], about trading the vehicle back in to us and we will absolutely buy the vehicle back at a current market price based on the current mileage and it not having a “structural damage” line listed on the Carfax. As far as the recall, those have to be handled by the manufacturer, so you should be able to schedule an appointment with any VW dealer and get the recall taken care of free of charge. Thanks, [redacted]    [redacted]Dream Cars Austin

I am sorry you did not have a good experience with your warranty.  You are free to cancel it at any time and receive a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.  Pleas contact our Finance Director, [redacted] at [redacted] to start that process.  I am not sure who you spoke to...

lost a job or something.,  But after 1 month, we have paid sales tax and transferred title, so it's not really possible to buy the car back. We have a 3 day return policy, but 1 month is well outside of that.

I am rejecting this response because: When I first received the vehicle it had issues, I made a request to Dream cars the same month ([redacted]) to replace the vehicle? [redacted] stated "NO",The issue was thought to be resolved and it was not. The car was taken again, I made a request to replace the vehicle. [redacted] stated "NO". The day they picked up the vehicle I informed ([redacted]) the trunk is leaking. He stated it will be fixed and it was not. After all this that took place, I made another request in regards to my payment that was coming up and it should be covered. [redacted] agreed to this after I explained to him the hardship of this ordeal. [redacted] stated "We will give you the first payment, but my boss doesn't appreciate the bad reviews posted on yelp. If possible after you receive your payment can you please remove your comments." This is why I cashed the check and still have the funds. Because I feel as if this was a bribe to just take the car and go away. Bending over backwards for someone is done when only one person gains. What is being described as bending over backwards is actually what dream cars is trying to pass off as "Doing Business".  I am appalled by what is being described as bending over backwards. I wish [redacted] was briefed on this matter!!!  If this was the case I would have just received another vehicle. Not a patch up automatic starter job, a leaky trunk,$600+ in damages, $515 bribe and three missed days of work. If any one out of these two parties bent over it was not dream cars and it was not backwards because I feel the most pain out of this situation. I own a business and fixing mistakes of the business would not be classified as going out your way to help. The attempt that was made is called "doing your job".  I had to call [redacted], even after the issues to ask for my plates because the paper plates that was given to me expired and I was never contacted by anyone. I requested the plates and registration be dropped off to me because I didn't want to drive with expired plates on the freeway/hwy. Dream cars stated they can not do so. Just drive the car anyway! I was texted on Jan 4 (plates expired on Jan 2, 2017) by [redacted] after picking up my plates and asked if there is anything that can be done. I informed [redacted] that the trunk is still leaking. No one contacted me or anything. Even the rep. ([redacted]) who sold me the car stated "They should have just given you another vehicle from the first issues!" I work a hour and half away, I am the only driver in my household. I do not have the time to spare, so I went down this avenue  to get this rectified. I just want another car because having black mold in your car with a 6month old baby is not something I would wish on anyone.  If I can not get money lost fine, I can always make more money. But I would like dream cars to do a buy back as suggested by my lender GM financial and give me another car, so I can make my payments. I am currently behind 42 days due to this matter. I am uncertain on how many more responses is need for dream cars to bend over backwards for me? again! PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thank you!
