Fri May - I had made a beer purchase and my brother was purchasing a bottle of gin I had on file and used my discount card for the beer purchase My brother had twice over the previous four months submitted his discount card application yet they still had no card for him on file We asked if we could use my discount card instead Their response was "yes", provided we pay with cash We agreed and I was asked by the cashier if I was the one making the purchase and I said "yes" although my brother was the one that produced the cash from his wallet Noticing on the receipt that no discount was applied, we questioned it and the cashier said that he wasn't eligible for a discount as he made the purchase and didn't have a discount card Whether right or wrong, is this way to treat a customer? Given that the store failed to provide him a discount card on two previous attempts - and that I was standing there in person with a valid discount card (and also having just made a purchase), I feel that the store was deceptive in leading us to believe that they would give him the discount and then not do so Going further, the cashier's "brush off" attitude toward the whole thing points to a general lack of customer care in their business model I have found similar negative reviews of this business regarding customer service on other web sites and am of the opinion that our experience is not unique Anticipating the response from this business, I will note that both my brother and I were courteous and polite throughout the encounter and did not make a scene at the time this happened Obviously my brother will never do business with them again, and I will not either since I cannot condone the way they treat their customers So they lost two customer to their competitors and I hope anyone reading this review will consider not doing business with them

I have shopped at this establishment a few times before with average customer serviceThis last time, I went in because I needed boxes to moveI am currently going through a divorce and it is not a happy timeI got some boxes and was going to throw away some of the box separators when an older oriental woman yelled at me, grabbed what I had in my hand, and said, "You don't throw that in there! You take everything!" I was shockedI said " I Guess I won't come back." She yelled "Good!" As I leftTomorrow is Thanksgiving, what horrible customer serviceI would have gladly taken them if she would have talked to me like a human being
