Extremely rude and stated that it was NOT their responsibility to inform my Mother that they would charging her storage when she called them about her car being towed there after an accident. In fact they told her they could not do anything until the insurance company came to look at the vehicle. She thought they repaired autos in accidents and it took over a week to obtain the police report and which point discovered they do not repair autos and she owed them $1,000 for the tow and storage - no negotiation.

Our son was in a small fender bender, I work for a collision repair facility in a different community. Not only do they NOT inform you of their astronomical fees their office staff is rude. If you are given an option call a towing and service center you know and trust because these people are out to bend you over and remove every penny from your wallet they can. They have sketchy business practices, charging tax on bills to other businesses which is illegal. As well as telling people at the scene of an accident it will be 150 dollar tow, charging for "clean up" in which they didn't do. My son put his own bumper in his back seat and then was charged for it. Office manager lies about conversations. I wound strongly recommend not using their service of towing, can't speak for their repairs but I can only imagine questionable character isn't limited to their towing business. A supposed 150 dollar bill was actually charged 368.90 It's hard to be informed under stressful situations in unfamiliar communities and these people take advantage of a situation. Sad, it doesn't take much to be descent people.

Contacted Elder's where son's car was towed and asked if we remove items from car until we could decide what to do next with it. Person said we would have access to the car as long as we brought proof of ownership. Showed up and the asked for $500 cash just to see the car! Was never told we needed cash. Website says they accept credit cards! They would not budge. [redacted]!!!!

My car was totaled in a car accident on Saturday and the police department handling the accident had it towed to Elder's. The receptionist has been nothing but rude every time I've called for information. My insurance representative was out the following Wednesday to inspect the car and leave information for me. Having been in an accident with no transportation, and still having a career requiring 8-6pm work hours in downtown Milwaukee, I asked if I could email my driver's license, purchase contract of the vehicle, copy of registration, copy of insurance, and more to verify ownership so that my insurance company could move it and was told "No, rules are rules you have to come in". Due to the complete disrespect of the receptionist, as well as the astronomical fees this company charges - I say steer clear. This company profits on vulnerability, leaving no option for any parties involved.

New Berlin police department called tow company to tow my vehicle, received tow company phone number. I called & talked to the owner directly. I asked the owner if the driver can tow the vehicle either at my house or a mechanic shop. Owner states he's has not received a call from the police department yet but as soon as he does he'll have the driver contact me directly. I gave the owner my direct cell phone number. I waited about 20 minutes for the driver to call & he did not call. Called the owner again, the owner states driver called & left a message & the driver has the car at the tow lot. I informed the owner the driver did not call & did not leave a message since he can't leave a message due to my voicemail box being full. Owner informed me the cost will be 201.79 since they will have to charge me the 14 miles from the tow lot to the Firestone. I informed him that no one called me & please understand & not charge me the miles since I didn't receive a call. He said then pick the car up at the lot on Monday & pay the $45 daily storage fee. I told him just have to driver drop it off at the mechanic's shop & I'll meet the driver there.
Upon meeting the driver, I told him I didn't receive a call. The driver stated the owner gave him the wrong number. I told the driver then he shouldn't charge me the full miles. Since the car was literally 5 miles away from the mechanic's shop. I explained the entire story to the drive & pleaded with him to reduce the charge a little since I did not receive a call. The driver did not change the price & I was required to pay the total charge of 201.79
