This place is so poorly ran that I didn't last hours thereafter hip replacement surgery I was transferred there for rehabilitationThey didn't have a walker or wheelchair for me to use and a nurse had to snag an old ladies chairI was told that she didn't need it right then I was then placed in a broken hospital bedThe drawer I was told to place my belongings had a used diabetic lancet and [redacted] cotton in itI then went to the bathroom but couldn't use it as there was feces on the floor and toiletWhen I told the nurse about it and what was in the drawer she replied to me that it wasn't her jobThere was no heat and I noticed that all the nurses wore hoodies it was so coldThe poor old guy in the bed next to me yelled for at least mins for someone to help him out of his chair to go to bed and empty his bottleHe ended up falling asleep in his chair and around 2:30AM he woke up and began yelling for help again and for someone to please empty his bottleI would not eat in that place and called for my sister to get me out of thereI hav filed a complaint with my Health Insurance Company, the California Department of Public Health, Licensing & Certification ProgramI have also contacted Medi-Cal, the Veterans Administration (as they contract with this place), and will be following up on the mistreatment of clients thereFurthermore, I took video with my cell phone to prove my claimsAnyone reading this should not place a loved one there until they are forced to clean up their actI was even charge a $"donation" for a cup of coffeeIt was explained to be that there was another viewpoint of the word donation and that staff take turns running itUnbelievable!
Awful, unprofessional, rude, not caring staff, ignorant, horrible place, it's a nightmare!
This place is so poorly ran that I didn't last 8 hours there. after hip replacement surgery I was transferred there for rehabilitation. They didn't have a walker or wheelchair for me to use and a nurse had to snag an old ladies chair. I was told that she didn't need it right then. I was then placed in a broken hospital bed. The drawer I was told to place my belongings had a used diabetic lancet and [redacted] cotton in it. I then went to the bathroom but couldn't use it as there was feces on the floor and toilet. When I told the nurse about it and what was in the drawer she replied to me that it wasn't her job. There was no heat and I noticed that all the nurses wore hoodies it was so cold. The poor old guy in the bed next to me yelled for at least 20 mins for someone to help him out of his chair to go to bed and empty his bottle. He ended up falling asleep in his chair and around 2:30AM he woke up and began yelling for help again and for someone to please empty his bottle. I would not eat in that place and called for my sister to get me out of there. I hav filed a complaint with my Health Insurance Company, the California Department of Public Health, Licensing & Certification Program. I have also contacted Medi-Cal, the Veterans Administration (as they contract with this place), and will be following up on the mistreatment of clients there. Furthermore, I took video with my cell phone to prove my claims. Anyone reading this should not place a loved one there until they are forced to clean up their act. I was even charge a $1 "donation" for a cup of coffee. It was explained to be that there was another viewpoint of the word donation and that staff take turns running it. Unbelievable!
