Elecon Engineering- Potential Scam Using Company Name

This person[redacted] contacted me stating she was from ELECON Engineering and wanted to conduct an video interview & screening for a position. This event occurred today, 2/6/2015. She had me install[redacted] Hangouts to conduct the interview online. I asked her was she from[redacted], my company, and she said 'Yes', so I agreed. Once installing this software for[redacted] it allows individuals to tap into your contacts, see you through your computer, etc. As the interview began, I realized this was a hoax and it was not my company. They asked for my full name, age, sex, city and state and began telling me the position was for a company called ELECON ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED. They led me to believe they were hiring me for another role in my company but this was not true. The loading of this software on my computer has exposed me to malicious acts and a breach of security. These people need to be reported and dealt with. It is false advertisement to the fullest extent of the law.Desired SettlementThis company needed to be reported to the Revdex.com and put out of business. Also, this company needs to be researched to see where it is truly based. At one point in the conversation they stated the company is based in India and opening up new branches in the states. This is a security invasion to allow a foreign country to mislead the citizens of the U.S. to give up personal information that could later harm them. I don't know if this company is for real or not, but it needs to be dealt with.
