In response to Mr. C**'s complaint, Mr. C** had given us a call on Friday morning, 12-9-2016, in regards to his oil boiler not working. He informed me that he just had another company work on it, that usually does the annually tune-up and...

service on it. I informed Mr. C** that he should just give them a call, since they are familiar with his system, and that they were just out there working on it. Mr. C** informed me he didn't want them back, because he felt they charged him to much. I then informed Mr. C** we could come out, but not till the afternoon. Mr. C** was fine with that and informed me that he would leave the porch unlocked, to gain access to the basement. Later that afternoon we arrived at Mr. C**'s house and checked out the boiler. The burner wouldn't ignite, we adjusted the electrodes, to get a better spark. We cycled the burner several times, and the burner fired every time. Later that night around 7:30- 8:00pm, I received a call from Mr. C** thanking us and that everything was operating fine.        On Saturday morning, 12-10-2016, around 9am, I had received a voice mail from Mr. C**, that he had no heat. I called him right back, and know one answered. I left a message that I received his call and I could come out to look at it, but I never received a call back that day, nor did a receive a call back the next day. I never heard back from Mr. C** until Tuesday, 12-20-2016, 10 days later. He informed me that his heat still doesn't work. I asked him why he didn't call us back and why did it take him 10 days to call us back, and he gave me no reply. Mr. C** wanted us back out on the 20th, but not till 5:30- 6:00pm, I informed him are normal hours are from 8am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. I asked him if he could leave the porch unlocked again so that we could gain access to the basement, since he is not home from 3pm to 5pm, but he refused. I then informed him I would come out myself sometime between noon and 3pm, but he said no, he wanted to take a nap. I took that answer to mean his heating problem couldn't have been to important, since he wasn't willing to work with us. I referred him to another contractor in his area that might still work on oil heat and that might be able to work with his time tables. I have not heard from Mr. C** since. JM Mechanical is an honest and fair company. We will always try to work with our customers and help them out. We would never cheat a customer.
