I am rejecting this response because:  I did ask for my money back from the beginning when the bike did not work properly.  They told me to take it to the bike shop in Huntington beach, which did not return it in proper running order.  I again asked...

for my money back and was again refused.  The manufacturer did try and fix it but again when I got it back it did not work properly and would need to be altered from it's manufactured state to get it to work properly (maybe).  I did not leave the bike in the rain.  It was in a box under shelter.  The box over time sweated under a cover I placed over it under shelter.  I was offered two bikes from the manufacturer but this would have deceived my purpose of getting a bike that does more distance for commuting because the bikes they offered did less miles.  I just want my money back.

Review: I purchased a Velocity 2.5 electric bike from [redacted] of Electric Star Power Bikes on 4/5/13 via telephone by credit card that he told me about and showed me on his web site. Upon receiving the bike it did not work properly also I did not receive a receipt that he said he would send with it. It has two power speeds low and high, the high did not work. I called him and told him and he told me "no returns". He said he would call the manufacturer to see what to do, which he did and I was told by him to take it to a power bike shop down here by me and the manufacturer would assist them in resolving the problem. I did as he said, the bike shop tried numerous times to fix it and could not. I again called [redacted] and asked for my money back and again was told "no returns", that I would have to go to the manufacturer which I did. They had me send it back to them and supposedly they were able to get it to work. So it was sent back to a power bike shop herefor them to reassemble it working for me which it still did not. Now the power would cut in and out. I just want my money back. The bike was obviously a lemon.Desired Settlement: The cost paid for the bike $1572.17
