This is in response to ID [redacted].We did replace 3 lamps and ballast for some down lights in the show room of [redacted] on 10/11/2014.On May 26, 2015 our technician was dispatched to [redacted] at 7:00am to...

establish if the light fixture with the issue was one of the three that we worked on in October 2014.Our technician established that is was not one of the fixtures that we worked on in October 2014. He explained to her that commercial lights require maintenance, lamps and ballast on light fixtures do periodically need to be replaced due to continued use.Attached is a copy of email correspondence between [redacted], the [redacted] representative, and myself, [redacted], the Electrical Management Systems, Inc representative. In her email on May 26, 2015 at 10:21AM she clearly states the fixture with the issue is “next” to the fixtures that we worked on. She confirmed and agreed that it was not a warranty issue. On May 26, 2015 we provided her with a proposal and asked if she would like to proceed. She then asked us to discount our rate on the proposal. She threatened us, saying that she would report us to the Revdex.com if we did not comply. At that point we informed her that we did not conduct business in that manner and that we would like to terminate the business relationship. As a courtesy, we would cover the cost of the service call on May 26, 2015 and not send her a bill and part ways.Clearly, with the attached email provided, this is a false complaint. We ask that she cease and desist from making further false actuations.Regards,[redacted]Electrical Management Systems, IncCC: A[redacted], A[redacted] & [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This case is not exclusively about warranty. The real
issue we have with this vendor is the lack of good customer service and the exorbitant
service fees we believe they charge every time they are called out to fix the
very same problem they should have fixed before. During the previous fix we were told
that they have fixed a faulty connection line between the ballast lights that was
the cause for the malfunction. Less than 7 months later the very same issue occurs. This time when they agreed to send someone
out to inspect the problem, we were quoted a fee of $ 250 (refer email
trail attached by vendor). The service fee they then topped additionally to the
material and repair costs now came to $ 325 - $ 75 more? We tried to rationalise with the vendor but to no avail. We feel this vendor is inconsistent, over-priced, has total disregard for good customer service and sub-standard workmanship.

Review: We got this company out in October 2014 to repair and replace the ballast & lamp kits for 6 down lights that were not working. We were quoted $ 1,983 at the time but were given 50% credit as the work done worked out less than the original quote. We were told that the work and materials were warranted for 1 year minimum. In May 2015, 7 months into the year, one of the same lights stopped working again. I got them out to repair and they want to charge me another $655.5 to repair. It's the same problem that should be warranted.Desired Settlement: We need the company to come repair the problem - we would like it to be covered by the first repair and warrant that was done less than 8 months ago.
