Viking Floor has tried on behalf of Ms [redacted] to get her claim taken care of Unfortunately her warranty on the wood itself is through the manufacture Viking is still pursuing it for her and appealing to [redacted] on her behalf However, Viking Floor does not make the wood and the product warranty goes through the manufacture

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10776934, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
Viking claims they have continued to work on my behalf Yet, the last communication I had with Viking, which I initiated, was in May That was months ago From July to May they repeatedly claimed someone was working on my claim, but I usually had to initiate all calls; After each call, they promised to call me later in the week, but that didn't happen I bought the floor from them They made a profit They represent the manufacturer to homeowners Viking needs to resolve this issue I have waited over a year, and nothing has been resolved!

Viking Floor has been working on Ms*** behalf with
her manufacture warranty dispute. Ms
***’s product warranty is with the manufacture in which we have to go
through the manufacture policies and procedures. As a business we do our very best in making
our customers happy, but when it comes to product warranties with the manufacture
we are limited to what we are able to do at times(The fact that Viking Floor
does not make the material, the product warranty belongs to the manufacture.) The
process threw the manufacture can take longer than a customer and Viking Floor
would anticipate. We did explain to Ms
*** that the Manufacture has denied the claim and we would pursue to try
to get the manufacture to approve, but other than that information we were limited
to any other information to give Ms*** other that what was given to her
already. We are happy to inform that the
manufacture has finally agreed to honor that claim and do a replacement. This is a benefit in going through an
honorable company, where we did continue to fight on Ms*** behalf and
because of our relationship with the manufacture they finally agreed to do the
replacement. We then again do have to
follow polices and procedure in which the manufacture has given to us. We will be contacting Ms*** to go
over them and move forward with doing the replacement
