Bought a Fridgidaire refrigerator/freezer after our other Fridgidaire stopped working after about years Have had the new one a couple of years Have had problems with it since day Had a rude guy come out which happened to be from the only place that repairs Fridgidaire under warranty in our area Had to wait weeks for a thermostat that he said we needed replaced Bear in mind that it was less than a month old when the thermostat had to be replaced The replacement didn't do the trick My complaint from day was that stuff in the freezer periodically unfreezes without anyone opening it which ruins my ice cream I can't buy popsicles anymore because they melt and re-freeze causing the packaging to burst open and create a mess Also, the refrigerator runs a little warmer than degrees with frozen spots in certain areas This has all been from day The repairman that came out told me that this was happening because "they aren't putting as much insulation in them anymore." At this point I have totally given up So, my food spoils faster or freezes because Fridgidaire decided it doesn't need so much insulation? I can tell that there isn't enough insulation because of the warping on the side of the fridge which I was told is "normal." The seals are all in great shape and working properly so it isn't a seal issue Unless Fridgidaire decides to make this good I won't purchase from this company anymore

If you happen to be shopping for any appliances or know anyone who is I would highly suggest staying away from Electrolux or FrigidaireWe ordered a brand new washer and dryer from [redacted] that arrived on October 28th and was placed into our homeA mere hours after going to put my first load into my brand new dryer it was was unresponsive and making random obnoxious beeping sounds, turning off and on or not completing the whole cycleSo I called the company and informed them of the issues where they promptly told me they were going to scheduled a technician to come out to investigate and diagnose the issueThe issue was looked at and parts were ordered only after two services calls and were instructed these parts will take weeks to arrive (Remember this dryer was broken from the beginning)So the parts are replaced and the issue with the dryer has actually gotten worse to the point where the tech and the company's tech department come to the same conclusion that this is not repairableI was then told that I would be contacted in hours after the file is reviewed for further actionI was never contacted and had to contact them where they proceed to inform me that they are unaware of the issues and they do not have enough information to deem the machine replaceableAt this point I am frustrated because the information I am getting and all the calls I have made don't make any sense to me on how they don't have enough informationSo after a long and frustrating call a tech is scheduled again to come out and look at the unitThe tech then calls me and informs me that he has spent over an hour on the phone with the company's tech department talking about the issue with this dryer and can't understand why corporate doesn't see the information they are providing them, so once again I get a file number and I am told I will be contacted in hoursThis does not happen yet again and by this time the issue has been going on for over a month nowso I call electrolux and spend yet again another hour or more talking to not one person but different people of different seniority levels telling me that they don't have sufficient information to replace the unit and that a tech has to come back outSo the tech comes out again and tells me that there is nothing he can doOnce again I call this company several times during the next few weeks and talk to various people of different management levels to figure out what is going on and why, yet, they keep repeating the same information until they tell me that they will look into this furtherBy this time I have completely gone past frustration and I am completely lost in what to doI then have my partner call them where he spends a few hours on the phone where he's fed the same line I have heard over the last months, but it is during these conversations they inform him that our washer was replaced by them (FYI this never happened), is this our problem and that we have to go down this same avenue, that they sat on this issue for weeks where nothing was done, and finally that we requested that nothing else doneSo after this phone call a different tech comes out and is told to replace the same parts that were replaced before ( I have the ticket for the last tech stating what was replaced)I just now get a call from the tech informing me the company now has canceled the parts ordered and have closed out the ticket for the tech to come outI haven't heard a peep from the company about this so once again the circle repeats. This company is the worst one I have ever dealt with by and I can say without a doubt they clearly have some very dishonest practices in the way they handle their customersThis company will either blatantly lie to you or just give you the run around just to save a few dollarsThis company may have some top of the line products but their customer services is a caliber of one starBuyer Beware

We purchased a Frigidaire convection oven about weeks agoit did not work proper from the very beginning and we got a company technician to fix the problems but then the new machine went completely deadso of course we called in and got a technician scheduled and someone came down but claimed he could not do anything because the convection was not removed from the wall so he left our house while we were ready to take it off right away and no one told us before he came that we need to disconnect the unit, however when we called back Frigidaire they said that according to there records a technician was there and had fixed the problemwhich we of course claimed as untruethen we got a phone call from that same company certified technician of why we said that to the company and they are not coming any more to our house the guy on the phone was threatening and harassing and hung upsince then for weeks we keep on calling Frigidaire but they are not able to help only to promise someone will come down to fixmeanwhile we have this unit we bought for a few hundred dollars laying on the floorif you are willing to experience this please buy from Frigidaire

We built a new house and bought all new Frigidaire appliances for the kitchen We moved in our house in late Christmas Eve of that year thankfully we were home We smelled burning wires and when checking found that the bridge burner on the stove was flaming hot and smoke was boiling from the cabinet underneath The bridge burner can only be turned on or off with another burner We tripped the breaker to turn it off The underneath side of the cabinets were charred so if we had been gone our house would have most likely burned The appliance company said the mother board shorted out They replaced the mother board and we have so far had no other problems from the cooktop A few months later we woke up to an alarm going off at 11:at night It was an alarm on the refrigerator, it wasn't cooling We bought the side by side (ft wide) refrigerator and freezer I called Frigidaire the next day and they told me my warranty went out at midnight the night before They asked why I didn't call the day before, I told them because it was 11:at night and asked them what their hours of operation were They were not open at 11: They told me if I would buy an extended warranty they would repair the refrigerator I told them to make good on the first warranty then I would buy an extended warranty After I talked to several people and asked for a manager they agreed to fix it This has gone on for 9-months now, they have sent two different repair companies out We have been told they have replaced and run everything they can on it and decided it has to be an internal Freon leak We have been told by the repair company that they should have replaced the unit The current company has been out six times, the company before was out twice We have lost many dollars worth of food over this issue I would NEVER buy or recommend buying a Frigidaire appliance! The produce is junk and the warranty is not worth the paper it's written on!

We purchased a Frigidaire convection oven about 8 weeks ago. it did not work proper from the very beginning and we got a company technician to fix the problems but then the new machine went completely dead... so of course we called in and got a technician scheduled and someone came down but claimed he could not do anything because the convection was not removed from the wall so he left our house while we were ready to take it off right away and no one told us before he came that we need to disconnect the unit, however when we called back Frigidaire they said that according to there records a technician was there and had fixed the problem... which we of course claimed as untrue.. then we got a phone call from that same company certified technician of why we said that to the company and they are not coming any more to our house the guy on the phone was threatening and harassing and hung up... since then for 4 weeks we keep on calling Frigidaire but they are not able to help only to promise someone will come down to fix. meanwhile we have this unit we bought for a few hundred dollars laying on the floor... if you are willing to experience this please buy from Frigidaire..

Bought a Fridgidaire refrigerator/freezer after our other Fridgidaire stopped working after about 6 years. Have had the new one a couple of years. Have had problems with it since day 1. Had a rude guy come out which happened to be from the only place that repairs Fridgidaire under warranty in our area. Had to wait 2 weeks for a thermostat that he said we needed replaced. Bear in mind that it was less than a month old when the thermostat had to be replaced. The replacement didn't do the trick. My complaint from day 1 was that stuff in the freezer periodically unfreezes without anyone opening it which ruins my ice cream. I can't buy popsicles anymore because they melt and re-freeze causing the packaging to burst open and create a mess. Also, the refrigerator runs a little warmer than 40 degrees with frozen spots in certain areas. This has all been from day 1. The repairman that came out told me that this was happening because "they aren't putting as much insulation in them anymore." At this point I have totally given up. So, my food spoils faster or freezes because Fridgidaire decided it doesn't need so much insulation? I can tell that there isn't enough insulation because of the warping on the side of the fridge which I was told is "normal." The seals are all in great shape and working properly so it isn't a seal issue. Unless Fridgidaire decides to make this good I won't purchase from this company anymore.

I have a new Frigidaire refrigerator that has was defective from the start. Frigidaire has sent a technician to my home 5 times, to assess the trouble and to replace three different parts.
The refrigerator still does not work! I want the product replaced as I have not been able to use my refrigerator for over a month now. Plus, I have had to spend many, many hours waiting for a technician to arrive and do repairs. If I didn't continually call their customer service department, they wouldn't be scheduling anything.

We built a new house and bought all new Frigidaire appliances for the kitchen. We moved in our house in late 2014. Christmas Eve of that year thankfully we were home. We smelled burning wires and when checking found that the bridge burner on the stove was flaming hot and smoke was boiling from the cabinet underneath. The bridge burner can only be turned on or off with another burner. We tripped the breaker to turn it off. The underneath side of the cabinets were charred so if we had been gone our house would have most likely burned. The appliance company said the mother board shorted out. They replaced the mother board and we have so far had no other problems from the cooktop.
A few months later we woke up to an alarm going off at 11:30 at night. It was an alarm on the refrigerator, it wasn't cooling. We bought the side by side (6 ft wide) refrigerator and freezer. I called Frigidaire the next day and they told me my warranty went out at midnight the night before. They asked why I didn't call the day before, I told them because it was 11:30 at night and asked them what their hours of operation were. They were not open at 11:30. They told me if I would buy an extended warranty they would repair the refrigerator. I told them to make good on the first warranty then I would buy an extended warranty. After I talked to several people and asked for a manager they agreed to fix it. This has gone on for 9-10 months now, they have sent two different repair companies out. We have been told they have replaced and run everything they can on it and decided it has to be an internal Freon leak. We have been told by the repair company that they should have replaced the unit. The current company has been out six times, the company before was out twice. We have lost many dollars worth of food over this issue.
I would NEVER buy or recommend buying a Frigidaire appliance! The produce is junk and the warranty is not worth the paper it's written on!

If you happen to be shopping for any appliances or know anyone who is I would highly suggest staying away from Electrolux or Frigidaire. We ordered a brand new washer and dryer from [redacted] that arrived on October 28th and was placed into our home. A mere 2 hours after going to put my first load into my brand new dryer it was was unresponsive and making random obnoxious beeping sounds, turning off and on or not completing the whole cycle. So I called the company and informed them of the issues where they promptly told me they were going to scheduled a technician to come out to investigate and diagnose the issue. The issue was looked at and parts were ordered only after two services calls and were instructed these parts will take 2 weeks to arrive (Remember this dryer was broken from the beginning). So the parts are replaced and the issue with the dryer has actually gotten worse to the point where the tech and the company's tech department come to the same conclusion that this is not repairable. I was then told that I would be contacted in 72 hours after the file is reviewed for further action. I was never contacted and had to contact them where they proceed to inform me that they are unaware of the issues and they do not have enough information to deem the machine replaceable. At this point I am frustrated because the information I am getting and all the calls I have made don't make any sense to me on how they don't have enough information. So after a long and frustrating call a tech is scheduled again to come out and look at the unit. The tech then calls me and informs me that he has spent over an hour on the phone with the company's tech department talking about the issue with this dryer and can't understand why corporate doesn't see the information they are providing them, so once again I get a file number and I am told I will be contacted in 72 hours. This does not happen yet again and by this time the issue has been going on for over a month now... so I call electrolux and spend yet again another hour or more talking to not one person but 3 different people of different seniority levels telling me that they don't have sufficient information to replace the unit and that a tech has to come back out. So the tech comes out again and tells me that there is nothing he can do. Once again I call this company several times during the next few weeks and talk to various people of different management levels to figure out what is going on and why, yet, they keep repeating the same information until they tell me that they will look into this further. By this time I have completely gone past frustration and I am completely lost in what to do. I then have my partner call them where he spends a few hours on the phone where he's fed the same line I have heard over the last 2 months, but it is during these conversations they inform him that our washer was replaced by them (FYI this never happened), is this our problem and that we have to go down this same avenue, that they sat on this issue for 2 weeks where nothing was done, and finally that we requested that nothing else done. So after this phone call a different tech comes out and is told to replace the same parts that were replaced before ( I have the ticket for the last tech stating what was replaced). I just now get a call from the tech informing me the company now has canceled the parts ordered and have closed out the ticket for the tech to come out. I haven't heard a peep from the company about this so once again the circle repeats. This company is the worst one I have ever dealt with by and I can say without a doubt they clearly have some very dishonest practices in the way they handle their customers. This company will either blatantly lie to you or just give you the run around just to save a few dollars. This company may have some top of the line products but their customer services is a caliber of one star. Buyer Beware.

I purchased a Frigidaire gas range that has a broiler on the top of the oven and on the burner knob there is a dot to turn on the broiler. It comes with no broiler pan or grate. Model [redacted] I called [redacted] and was told new gas ranges no longer come with broiler pans. I spent $649.99 for a stove to broil and now must purchase my own broiler pan. I was told I must use broiler pan from the old stove. I had haulaway on the old stove. The stove and broiler pan are gone. It is is deceptive to sell me a stove with a broiler but I'm unable to use the broiler. How can a company sell a product with a selling point that showed a feature that influenced my decision to purchase said product, but doesn't allow me to use the product feature. I give Frigidaire a F- rating. I advise that people not purchase a Frigidaire appliance. Also, if you buy any gas range, ask if it comes with a broiler pan.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GET A FRIGIDAIRE!!!!!! Worst service ever. I've been without a fridge for 26 days now. I would of been better off purchasing a new one. Brand new fridge purchased in Feb, compressor broke in May. I've called the company over 20 times attempting to get this fixed. Constant back and forth, going through red tape and repeating the same information to whichever new rep is on the phone with you that day. If you value your time and money, spend it somewhere else.

In October, 2015 we purchased Frigidaire stainless steel, smudge proof kitchen appliances thorough [redacted]. Included in our purchase was a stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. At the time of purchase, we also bought an extended warranty. One month after our purchase, we had to have a service call for our dishwasher. It was not drying or washing properly. We ultimately had 8+ service calls and repairs for the dishwasher, which also included missed days from work to be home for the allotted time frames for service calls. Frigidaire replaced EVERY functioning part of the dishwasher and it still did not work properly. Numerous calls to Frigidaire were made, all which took a minimum of 40+ minutes once you were able to maneuver thorough the prompts and wait times to actually speak to someone. Frigidaire ultimately replaced the dishwasher. Fast-forward 10 months later. Our refrigerator starts malfunctioning, and stops cooling. We had to wait 4 day before Frigidaire's service contractors sent someone to look at the refrigerator. We lost all our food and ended up going 8 days without a refrigerator. The refrigerator was repaired on a Friday. The following Thursday (6 days later), the refrigerator stops cooling and working again. This time we went 14 days without a refrigerator and lost all of our food again. It has now been 3 weeks since the second repair and the refrigerator starting not cooling again. The service contractor through Frigidaire will not be available for service for 6 days, and once again lost food. I have asked about the costs to replace the food and Frigidaire told me it is not part of my warranty. We have lost almost $600 worth of food at this point. Every time we are without a refrigerator, we also have the extra expense of purchasing all of our meals out. The stress, frustration, and time missed from work that has come along with this ordeal has been absolutely ridiculous. As much money as we spent on this purchase, I have been extremely disappointed Frigidaire, and the warranty. We purchased Frigidaire because we thought the name and company was reputable, but we have learned that is not the case and to have these products breaking and not working less than a year after purchase, is ridiculous, to say the least.

This is my experience with purchasing a new Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator.

Purchased and then, delivered on October 10th of the same year and month.
Then in October of 2015 it started making a loud funny noise and then quit. I called [redacted] where we bought it and they scheduled for a technician to come out the following week. When I asked if this is covered under warranty, they said no. Technician came out and said to replace the evaporator fan, which we did, when we took it apart the panel was taped instead of using a screw on one side(poorly put together). It worked for about a week and then; same thing. We again replaced the evaporator fan, and I wrote a review voicing my concerns on a consumer review website.

Someone from Frigidaire contacted me by email, I explained the situation, and they said they would take care of it. Yea! However, the technicians that were sent, kept coming out to the house, replacing things, and still the same problem. This process left me without use of the refrigerator for November, December, and part of January. On the last visit, the alleged repair lasted ten days.

I again contacted Frigidaire requesting someone else, which they did send someone from another company. The new technician stated that he thinks he found the problem and informed me that he re-attached a coupling and that if it didn't work to contact them and they would have to replace it. He did seem to know what he was talking about and for two months we had no problems. Then again, same code, same problem. I then contacted Frigidaire and was informed that they were not responsible for the repair and if I wanted to purchase an extended warranty, it may be covered.

This is ridiculous, the same problem for 7 months, SIX total visits from technicians and the refrigerator still is not working properly. The initial issue was never fixed and we are on our own. This is, in my opinion, due to shoddy assembly and poorly trained technicians. This is a brand new refrigerator, my last refrigerator lasted 20 years before needing to be replaced. Oh, by the way, it was not a Frigidaire and I will not, nor would I recommend, purchasing anything from Frigidaire again.
