To whom it may concern, On a date prior to 12/21/I received a call from [redacted] asking to purchase some CCTV wireAfter getting prices for the wire he started asking about different CCTV technologies available nowAfter discussing several options with [redacted] he decided to come visit the store for further educationOn 12/21/he came in with his wife and I showed him what we had to sell, he was thrilled with the products we discussed and he took DVR and cameras with him that day and ordered more cameras to install later that we didn’t have in stock that dayHikvision was not mentioned at all that I recallOn 01/09/ [redacted] came in and purchased more cameras that had come in, and while there he commented that he had set up the recorder and one camera already, and that the image quality was greatI think it was Friday 2/17/that [redacted] came in with DVR and power supply saying that he went to a trade show the weekend before and test drove a Hikvision DVR and liked the way it operated better so he wanted to return recorder and power supplySo [redacted] had DVR recording for almost months before trying to bring it backUpon inspecting recorder, I noted that it had been installed and none of the parts were in original packaging in boxUpon inspecting power supply, none of the paperwork was in box also the power cord was missingAt that time I asked the owner [redacted] to come up and we told [redacted] we can’t give refunds for used equipment since the DVR is a life safety productWhen asked if it didn’t work he said it works fineIf it didn’t we would have gladly exchange for new unitIf we were to take unit back and re-sell it and it didn’t perform because [redacted] had changed something in programming we would be liable to that installers customerYou can not re-sell life safety equipment unless you reduce selling price and tell installer that unit has to be factory defaulted and reprogrammed to meet needs at install siteAlso [redacted] didn’t tell me he was to buy ONLY the wire, which was an agreement he had made with my dealer [redacted] of [redacted] , Steve was to purchase and install CCTV equipment per his agreement with ***Now my customer is upset that we sold around him and cut him out of the deal [redacted] went from thinking I was great to thinking I’m cheating him when he never told me about HikvisionAlso DVR sold to [redacted] $499.98, power supply was $which is $instead of ***’s figure of $before taxPlease see attached invoice for pricing [redacted] has done nothing but deceive me about too many things to start believing him nowThanks [redacted] Electronic Alarm Distributors, IncSouth 3rd StreetLouisville, KY 40203###-###-#### Local###-###-#### Toll Free###-###-#### Fax [redacted] www.eadelectronics.com

EAD has already responded to the complaint and we have stated that our return policy . All returned equipment must be in the original cartons and unused with original paper documents and parts. Which the customer did not supply. equipment had been used for over a month and change from original factory settings.Seller receives the right at any time to revoke any credit to buyer because of buyers failure to comply with trms.Thanks [redacted] ***Pres/OwnerTell us why here...

come visit the store for further education. On 12/21/2016 he came in with his wife and I showed him what we had to sell, he was thrilled with the products we discussed and he took DVR and 2 cameras with him that day and ordered 6 more cameras to install later that we didn’t have in stock that day. Hikvision was not mentioned at all that I recall. On 01/09/17 [redacted] came in and purchased 6 more cameras that had come in, and while there he commented that he had set up the recorder and one camera already, and that the image quality was great. I think it was Friday 2/17/2017 that [redacted] came in with DVR and power supply saying that he went to a trade show the weekend before and test drove a Hikvision DVR and liked the way it operated better so he wanted to return recorder and power supply.
