I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, assuming the business follows through This will now be the second time they have said that they will refund us the money The business asked for proof of the email (attached) We do not want a refund for ***'s stays, we want the money back that we pre-paid for any future visits because there will be no future visits The amount left in our account is over $1, The exact amount is in our original complaint.

[redacted], Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, safe and relaxing environment for the dogs in our care every day. It is unfortunate that you and [redacted] did not have a positive experience at Wagtime.Wagtime is an open facility, where we allow the dogs to...

engage in supervised play, under the supervision of multiple trained handlers. However, we do handle a high volume of dogs, which can be overwhelming for some pups. A cage-free facility like ours can be beneficial and offer dogs the opportunity for socialization and free play, but some dogs benefit from, and prefer alternate situations or environments. However, we do take complaints very seriously. I spoke with Jessica, our Front Desk Lead Staff, who was working during your last visit. She gave me more insight on the situation and what took place. Jessica agreed that [redacted] displayed nervous and fearful behavior during his last stay. She was also working when you brought [redacted] for his previous boarding reservation and she said she tried some problem-solving techniques to try and help him calm down and feel more comfortable. We have three daycare rooms, which are separated based on size and temperament of the dogs and each room is active and bustling daily. It's very possible that [redacted] is anxious/fearful when mixed with some or even large groups of dogs, which is common in rescues and younger dogs.  Shy dogs tend to display behavior changes such as retreating to a far corner, a tucked tail, and urination when presented with an unfamiliar or stressful situation. Many daycares offer scheduled break times while crated, which may help with that kind of anxiety.I am happy to hear that [redacted] found a boarding facility that fits his needs. In regards to your request for a refund on the prepaid package you purchased with us, there is a credit of $323 remaining on your account after deducting the cost of two days of daycare and [redacted]'s boarding stay with us. We are unable to issue a refund on that package, as stated in our registration contract that all clients are required to read and sign prior to using our services. I understand Wagtime may not be the home for [redacted] when boarding but I do encourage you both to come back and utilize the remaining balance on your package on retail items or any of our other services, and hopefully we could make your next experience a great one.

Hi [redacted], I want to start off by saying that we appreciate your feedback in regards to [redacted] falling ill after bringing him in. We loved having [redacted] stay with us and we were truly saddened by the news of his passing. There are some things I think are important to discuss about an open,...

cage-free environment like Wagtime. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and clean environment for everyone. Our boarding facilities are maintained using state of the art sanitation equipment. We do a deep clean of the daycare three times a day, while having our daycare attendants (who are in the room 24/7) spot clean throughout the day with pet safe cleaners. In addition to a strict cleaning protocol implemented by our owners, we also do a thorough check of the dogs in our care both when they arrive and depart. While we do maintain and continuously clean our facilities, it is not uncommon that a dog can come down with something. Older dogs, like [redacted], tend to have a weaker immune system making it easier to contract things like infections or Kennel Cough. Some dogs are also more susceptible to illness when they aren't regularly exposed to the different germs that every dog in the facility has. The exact reason that [redacted] fell ill is unclear, but what we do know is that different types and strains of germs develop every day. While we do require and can verify that all of our dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, there are still inherent risks that come with boarding at an open facility like Wagtime. We generally waive liability for illnesses and injuries; which is why we don't usually issue refunds for situations like these. If you could provide us with the email from the owner approving your refund I would be more than happy to take care of it for you.
