The attached form details the replacement to restoration cost analysisThis form shows that we saved the insurance company almost 60% which is the total savings we advocate in our literature and communications with the insurance companiesI spoke to the insurance adjuster and she said we have bent over backwords for the homeownerPlease also note that we normally make refunds to the insurance carrier but since the homeowner has exceeded their policy limits, they are looking to ERS for a stipendMrs [redacted] specifically indicated we owed $which is ridiculous. The homeowner claims the following: [redacted] there were additional missing and broken items - response: our delivery report, which the homeowner signed off on, did not identify any missing or broken items[redacted] items that were significantly overcharged - response: the attached report summarizes the replacement value to restoration costAs you can see, some items are more time consuming to restore though 95%+ of the items were restored below replacement valueOverall, the insurance company saved almost 60%Our agreement with the insurance carriers is that there will be a overall significant savingsWe don't guarantee the restoration to replacement cost savings for every individual itemSome items are more sooted and more difficult to restore than others[redacted] we were overcharged for the re-delivery - response: our analysis indicated that when considering rush, pick up and delivery trips, we lost $I'll be happy to share that analysis which I did with the homeowner[redacted] We have tried repeatedly to work this out with the owner [redacted] However, he has been very difficult, threatening us with lawyers, etc- We have spent an enormous amount of time with this homeowner (as have other contractors we found out)Response: Last time I spoke to the homeowner, I suggested we were at an impasse and maybe we should let our attorneys handle the discussion going forwardThis was certainly not a threat but only a suggestionI refuse to meet their demand of $[redacted] our dryer--which is under ERS warranty--has water in it after running a complete cycle - Response: dryers are not hooked up to water so it's not possible there was a leakThere could have been liquid build up from the washing machine in the cycle. In summary - we were hired by the insurance company to restore the electronics, which we didOur processes are ISO compliant which means we use best practices for our electronics restoration processesMany times homeowners would prefer replacement over restoration but our obligation is to restore to pre-peril condition, which we did

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/09/21) */
On 9/18/15, Revdex.com received the following from the business via email:
Hi ***,
Here is a summary of services performed and information obtained for case #*** Ms*** *** ***
On September 19th, an ERS technician went to
Ms*** *** ***'s home to inspect an oven and refrigerator due to potential water damageThe technician found several conditions that are not consistent with recent water damageThe technician took several pictures of the stove which is approximately years oldIn the pictures, one will see broken parts, old rust, and corrosion (which caused holes to the surface), as well as other damagesBased on ERS's initial observation, ERS cannot validate that the equipment was damaged by the peril
The refrigerator also had several conditions that ERS could not validate as a cause of the perilThe refrigerators door would not properly close due to the torn seal which is visible in the attached picturesThe technician took pictures of the condenser, fan, compressor, and coils which were covered with the dust and debrisTypically water marks would be visible, and the technician did not detect any water marksThe technicians professional assessment of the refrigerator found the damage to be unrelated to the peril
Sincerely,
Vince M***

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2015/09/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have all the facts, and I am correct or I'd not waste time on this issue with a slack company who sends a rep out with their own logo spelled incorrectly on the invoice which I will post online laterThey, as any review I've read on them attests, are wrongI have the photos before and after the flood on both appliancesIf the stove top (not the refrigerator freezer, and even the water mitigation company said it could be a result of the floor being taken out under the refrigerator) was nearly years old (which I do not know and neither do they), they were used, as snowbirds as we spent half the year at our beach properties, for years, and all worked beautifully before the floodERS and insurance act as though people live in homes without working appliances, plumbing, etcwhich is a farceWe are a highly intelligent, educated, successful, and hard working honest family - not trash which seems to be the mindset of these people, so why does insurance charge what they do to insure all that actually was there and did work before a disaster? It's a breached contractYou're not going to get a straight answer from any of them, and Daddy always said to never argue with drunks or I'll omit the rest of that line, but will simply stand firm on the fact that, as God is my witness, I am correct, so I'll save it for the Attorney General, possibly an attorney locally, and, in respect and honor of the lives and sacrifices of my deceased parents being spit upon by these people who are either clueless or dishonest, I'll have the soil on the stove tested and keep an eye on their reviews over the next several years as a new goal to discredit dishonesty / incompetence and prove my pointPeople should not be cheated by this company, and I am correct that all was great pre flood and not working after the flood (as contractors even agreed)I never fight unless I'm right, and I might not win with people like this; yet, neither will they; however, again, as Daddy always said, "Never argue with drunks or ..." so tell me again that the plastic buttons rusted : )
Final Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2015/10/05) */
We stand by our original statement and pictures that were sent with initial response
Sincerely,
Vince M***
