To whom it may concern,
On behalf of Stealth Trailers, Stealth's warranty coverage is one...

year from the date of purchase per our Owner's Manual. The trailer in question was registered with our warranty department on 1/14/2016. The initial date of this complaint was 7/6/2017. Please note, that the warranty coverage on this unit has been expired for approximately 6 months. Unfortunately, in this case the customer's complaint in regards to his Stealth Trailer falls under customer maintenance guidelines, not warranty.
Every Stealth Trailer sold includes a printed copy of our covered Warranties, and digital copy of our Owner's Manual which states the basic owner maintenance that should be performed to maintain the integrity of the unit, and its components. It is our desire at Stealth to produce a good quality product. Stealth has and always will honor the warranties; so long they fall within the guidelines.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2017/07/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I bought this trailer in January of last year. The frame is horribly rusted and it now looks like a 10 year old trailer. I have used this trailer just as anyone else would have used this trailer; behind my truck, and on the road. I have approximately 300 miles on he trailer and only used it once in the winter. The paint is very poor quality, chalky paint and it is not adhering to the steel. I'm not sure what kind of "customer maintenance" they are referring to but I am offended that they are actually blaming me for the lack of paint adhesion and poor rust protection. I can't force them to do anything to stand behind their product. If they feel that this is how their trailers should hold up after 18 months of very light use, and that my experience Is typical of what customers should expect, I deeply regret my purchase. If this is truly the case, then they should have no issue with me sharing my experience on-line.
