Hello [redacted], I'm responding to complaint #[redacted]. On 02-**-14 we received an order for 18 candles from [redacted]. This order came in with a 5% discount for the amount of $5.36 off her bill. After placing the order...

and receiving her discount she contacts me the following day to say she saw a discount for 10% off if our [redacted] page is liked. I explained to her we had that offer for one day a few days ago when we started the campaign. When you click on our website for the first time a big coupon appears that states Like us on [redacted] and get 5% Discount. At the time of the customers order this was the only discount available. She was explained from time to time we do have special promotions but at the time of her order the discount was 5%. This order was actually issued a full refund on 02-**-14 at 10:04 am. The reason was this item was no longer available. Please let me know if you have any further questions in regards to this order. Thanks [redacted].

The subtotal was $107.10 Shipping and handling was $18.12 Discount was 5% -$5.36 for a total $119.86 + $9.51 tax Grand total of $129.37 was paid. At the time the customer placed her order she accepted the 5% discount that was offered at the time of her purchase. The next day she inquired about a 10% discount. She was explained at the time she placed her order the only offer we had was a 5% discount which she accepted when she placed her order. It turned out that this favor was no longer available and was refunded the full amount of $129.37 on 02-**-14. If you need a copy of the purchase order I will be gladly to send you a copy. Review: I am getting married in a couple of months and I was browsing the website for a wedding favor. I also love a good sale or discount. When I went through their website on 2/**/14, it pops right as you enter that there is a 5% discount for going to [redacted] and clicking "Like" on their page. I kept that in mind, kept browsing and looked all over their website. I got to a page that stated if I went to [redacted] and hit "Like" that I would get 10% off my entire order! (Here is the link that I went to: [redacted] ) I thought I had gotten lucky and I was happy to have looked at not just their products but many things on the site to find an even better offer! I went to place my order and first went to [redacted] as it had told me to do. I then got the code, added the promotion, and noticed that it only took 5% off. Just in case, I took a picture of the offer on my phone with the date and time on my computer showing what I had found. I was confused again, but because it was on their website and almost 9 PM, I didn't think anything of it and placed the order anyway figuring I could reach out once someone would be available to talk to.

The next morning, I reached out to their online chat because the store doesn't open until 11 AM so I figured I would see if anyone was available. After about 5 minutes waiting for someone I almost gave up and it then told me that someone was typing. I waited and someone named [redacted] was available to chat with me. I explained the situation and sent him the link so he could see what was happening and what I had found online so he could just correct the order. I emailed myself a copy of the conversation after I was complete and to my understanding basically told me that it was NOT something they could honor, they WOULD NOT honor it even though I gave them proof and the website address showed what I was asking for and then he REFUSED to give me contact information for a [redacted] or [redacted] to reach out to to try and resolve the situation. I informed him it was false advertising and I would reach out to the Revdex.com due to my situation.

The customer service was appalling but the fact that they have information available to the public that you can get 10% off the hitting "Like" on [redacted] made me very upset because he then would not help me resolve the situation. I want to make you aware of what happened, I have pictured on my phone and the transcript of my conversation with them documenting how unhelpful they were.

While I was typing up my complaint to you, I went back to that same website around 9:30 AM on 2/**/14 and it is now stating, "Whoops, our bad...Page not Found". I don't blame them for finally taking down the site so they don't face this issue with customers in the future.Desired Settlement: I asked the person in the chat if I could have the entire 10% off not just the 5% and they refused. I am now not only requesting that 5% more but the entire total of my order back onto my credit card due to the fact that there were differences in what was stated on the site and link that I found and I followed the directions properly to get the full discount. I will be happy to still pay for the shipping and tax on the items.
