Review: To whom it may concern:

I purchased a couch and loveseat set at ELEGANT HOME FURNISHINGS, located at 1177 W. Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA, 95209 (209)472-1508. My complaint has to do with the company delivered the wrong color of couches.

It took me 3-5 trips to the store to pick these couches. The reason I picked this set is because of the color. The color was on the lighter side if reddish burgundy and not bright red. When I said ok this the set. The owner said okay you want the burgundy couches. I said yes, I just thought, when he said burgundy that, burgundy is the color the store has them labeled with even if they were not a dark color.

The day that they were to delivered the set, I told the two men this is not my set, these were the wrong couches. No, no, no these are not the right ones. See the red in them its just look different because of the light is not the same as the store. NO. these are not the ones I ordered. They are too dark. They almost brown Not red. You bought burgundy and these are burgundy. Yes it says that, but these are not mine take them back. No, no these are yours.

I did sign the delivery paper, you order burgundy these are burgundy. Yes but not my set was more red than brown. Went on and on about it. I knew I was not going to get then to take it back. I called the store and spoke with the manger owner, I told him the problem and this went on and one for two to three days. Finally I went to the store with the swatch of leather from the arms of the couch. Thinking maybe he really doesn’t know.

He didn’t. When he saw the swatch right away he said these are not the same ones you ordered Miss. [redacted]. This is what I have been complaining about. He went over to an other couch and compared the shade. Now I am going to get somewhere, so I thought.

All I want is for you to take them back and let me choose others because these are not the ones I wanted. Let me go and talk to the guys who delivered them. He came by back to me and changed his story. No these are the one you choose. I said maybe there was a mix-up and some others have my set? No, I don’t switched I do not do business like that. Mistakes accidents do happen. All I want to do I pick another set even if it’s more expensive I’ll pay for it, No, I will sent my guys there to take a picture if them then we will see. You signed the sales paper. Yes I know. But these are the wrong ones. The guy came took pictures and still no help from this business. He did admit these were the wrong ones and then changed his statement.

Desired Settlement: All I want to do I pick another set even if it’s more expensive I’ll pay for it, No, I will sent my guys there to take a picture if them then we will see.
