On or around May 29 we received a phone call from [redacted] stating there is no house wrap under the siding on part of his house. We build this house about 11 of 12 years ago. Since then this was first time we heard from [redacted]. About two days later went to inspect the supposed problem. [redacted]...

[redacted] has pulled out a brick molding on one side of the exterior door. Under the 2" molding there was no house wrap and it not supposed to be there. When the door is installed brick molding attached to the door frame rests against exterior sheeting of the house. Then siding contractor installs siding trim and housewrap up to the brick molding around the door. This is why house wrap is not under the 2" brick molding. This is what [redacted] saw. He was concern that there is no housewrap under greater part of the wall. I picked under the exposed side of the "J" channel and it was clear torne housewrap is there, didn't have a special tool to remove a piece of siding. I didn't remember which subcontractor did this job (it was such a long time ago). I said will send him (if find out who was it) or stop by myself later with needed tool to remove piece of siding. I knew there is no problem and everything is the way it supposed to be. Over the summer had some long planed trips and didn't have a chance to stop by. However spoke to [redacted] a few times. always pick up his phone calls and returned his messages, told [redacted] will stop by when will be in the area to show him housewrap is there. It is about 30 miles one way to his house. Once again there was no urgency because there was no problem. I got to [redacted] house on September 9". It was two days before we received letter from your office. [redacted] was there and I asked him which panel he wants me to remove. I did it and of course house wrap was there. He seemed to be satisfied. When we build [redacted]'s house years ago he was present there every day almost all days. There was no chance somebody could forget something. Problem was with the bottom of the door which rooted away. Even if there was no housewrap it would have no effect on that problem,If there are any questions please contact me at ([redacted].SincerelyMarek K.
