Elegant Limousine

Review: I hired Elegant Limousine for 6 hours for my daughter's Sweet 16-which was on November **, 2015. I gave them a $100 cash deposit & as soon as we pulled up the driver (Barry) demanded I give him the $500 cash that I still owed. I gave him the cash went into the party. We got out of the party at 12:10 & we wanted the get the 8 girls & my 85 year old mother into the limo and out of the pouring rain. I was told that no one could get into the car until I gave them an extra $100 bc we were late. I told him no problem just let the girls & my mom get out of the rain & get into the limo. He said that policy stated that he couldn't. I was visibly shaking & upset & he started that he didn't have to deal with this nonsense and drove away leaving us stranded in the rain. We had to call call 2 different cab companies & finally got 2 cabs which cost us $150 to get home. My 85 year old mom & all the girls were saturated along with all my daughter's gifts. I called them the following day & I was told that that was their policy & the woman hung up on me. I continued to call back to talk to a manager/owner & she kept yelling saying that she couldn't get in touch with them & continued to hang up on me again. My sister-in-law tried calling & she got the same treatment. I paid this company $600 in cash for a one-way 20 minute trip to my daughter's Sweet 16. It ruined a beautiful night for my daughter & my family.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money due to the fact that the driver got $500 in cash & left my daughter, 8 friends, myself, & my 85 year old mother in the pouring rain. Not only did we have to pay for 2 additional cabs, half of my daughter's gifts were ruined.
