The person making this complaint purchased a bridal gown from our store We ordered the gown and she came in and picked it up nearly months ago She did not directly purchase a bridesmaid gowns from our store She is seeking a refund for a product that she wasn't the customer
for. The people that she is referring to that did purchase gowns from our store have still not returned our phone calls We have tried contacting this customer AND her bridesmaids over times from October through May to figure out what they wanted to do with this order We called the bridesmaids directly and asked them to return our phone calls numerous times Neither has contacted us back to arrange for their refunds The person placing this complaint did call us today and hung up on us when we told her we had to check the status of the refunds (it's been so long that our consultant on the phone didn't know off the top of her head if the refunds had ever been done) Upon checking into it further, neither person had ever called us back to tell us where to send the refunds, etc
Review: Purchased 6 Jasmine B2 bridesmaid dresses in February 2014, was told that if I paid a $30 rush fee, they would arrive by mid-April. By mid-April, the dresses still hadn't arrived, and when I called, I was told that they would arrive by late April. By late April, the dresses had not arrived, and when I called again, I was told that the company would be living up to the integrity of their word if the dresses were SHIPPED at that later time frame, because according to them, the order would be fulfilled "on time." The dresses did not arrive until May 8th, making it difficult to get alterations done on the dresses before my wedding on June 7th. We paid $180 extra for our dresses to arrive by mid-April, and received them weeks after the said time.Desired Settlement: Refund the $180 rush fee.

Response:
We received your notices late due to being out of the office
quite a bit during July, so we are just now able to research
and reply to the complaint.
The customer came in on Saturday, Feb 8 to order bridesmaid
dresses. After the dress was chosen, the party was informed
that they would need to do rush shipping in order to receive
the dresses before the wedding. There was only one rush option
available from that dress manufacturer, which was an
approximate 10 week rush. The final orders were received from
the party members late in the day on Feb 10th, and the order
was placed with the manufacturer on Feb 11. Exactly 10 weeks
would have been April 22. However, dates are never guarenteed
from manufacturers, nor by us, as it states on the invoices...
Everything we have states we told the party that the dresses
should be in approximately the END of April. Again, there are
no exact dates from manufacturers. The dresses came in, were
inspected and steamed, and the party was called on May 8th to
let them know the dresses were here and ready to be picked up.
When [redacted] had called us on May 2nd checking on the dresses,
she had asked for a refund of the rush charges, but we
explained that if she had not ordered rush, the dresses would
not have arrived in time for the wedding, and that all dates are
approximate.
Please let us know what the next steps are.
Thanks!
