of customers and served them to the best of our ability in order to satisfy their needs and expectationsUnfortunately we cannot please all of our customers, though we constantly attempt our best to do soLuckily, though, we can proudly say that most of our customers are satisfied with our work and hence spread the word about our services, which is how our business expandsThroughout the years we have experienced different customers that have shaped the way we do businessAs previously stated, all of the work that we do is done custom for the customerWe do not maintain an inventory of pieces, as all of our pieces are made specifically to the customer’s wants and needsWhen a customer enters our doors, we will greet them and give them an explanation of how our process differs from othersOur customers get say in everything that goes into their piece, from the material of the piece to the type and size of stones they would likeOur customers leave with the satisfaction of knowing their piece will be exactly to their liking, but our attempts to guarantee our customer’s satisfaction does not include returns, as all of the pieces produced are custom made to the customer’s specific orderPart of the budget for materials is charged up-front in order to minimize delays in working on the pieceThe design is then shown to the customer so that we can go ahead and continue the manufacture of the piece; we largely differ from those that simply sell ready-made pieces in the sense that materials are crafted to the customer’s exact wants.In the case at hand, we went through our standard procedure that we take all of our customers throughOnce the customer accepted the terms we agreed to, we promptly got to workOnce the stones were shown to the customer(originally 1/ carat), she commented that she would like larger stonesThe following day, she called requesting that the ring be made in 10kt gold, as opposed to 14kt, which we did not understand, nor were explained the reasoning toRegardless, with the additional budget this allowed, we were able to increase the size of the stones to 3/carat at the same agreed budgetWhen the customer came to pick up the piece, she tried it on and fell in love with the piece, which she conveyed to the person she was with- the only problem is that she brought $of her $balance, an arbitrary amount differing from the agreed priceUnfortunately we do not allow a customer to set the price of a piece we create, and we apologize for suchOn the Friday before Mother’s Day, we contacted the customer again to ask the customer what her intentions were with the ring, to which she replied: “Working w the Revdex.com”Typically it is our policy to scrap pieces that are not picked up in order to cover compensation and expensesWe do not intend to take such action, as the piece is still at our shop, available for pickup
