Element Financial

Review: Element Financial and [redacted] accepted fraudulent documents from [redacted] attempted to collect through a third party collections company, and are now attempting to file suit to collect on false documentation from [redacted]. Element Financial is attempting to collect from a business that never entered into any agreement with [redacted], or Element, nor did this business receive any equipment or service as they are claiming. Equipment was installed at an adjacent company, different company, different Tax ID, etc. This company was non functioning from the start and continues to be non-functional, multiple discussions were had with both [redacted] and [redacted]/Element in regards to removing the non-functional system which was never done. A police report has been made regarding the fraudulent documents [redacted] provided to [redacted]/Element as the signatures identified as **. [redacted]'s are clearly not his.In addition to the lease agreement, the equipment list contains false information as to what equipment and where it is located. The company is now attempting to file suit against a company it has never done business of any kind with and has no agreements with.Desired Settlement: [redacted]/ Element Financial Corp. to immediately cease and desist with their attempts to bring suit against [redacted], or any future collections against this company that they have zero relations with. Remove their equipment from [redacted] immediately or authorize us to remove it and ship back to them immediately.

Review: We leased a [redacted] Copier through Element Financial. At the completion of the lease we notified Element by phone that we did not want to continue the lease months before the lease was expired and asked for assistance about returning the copier. We proceeded to call every two week from this point on but call were not returned until one month after the lease expired. At this time Element told us we needed to have sent a written request to end the lease so it had automatically renewed.

From this point on it was nearly impossible to talk to anyone at Element and when we finally spoke with [redacted] he was continuously very rude and disrespectful. In spite of the fact that they had record of our previous phone calls trying to resolve the issue and return the copier he refused to accept the copier return.

They finally sent us a return authorization months later and we returned the machine in December of 2012. Then a month later we received a bill for the previous 3 months rent, late fees and a purchase option fee. Element continued to try to make us pay for the machine that we "bought" and said they didn't have it even though we have paperwork showing it was returned to them.

We were in constant communication to try to settle this matter but they sent the matter to collections and refused to work with us or admit any miscommunication or wrongdoing. They finally admitted that they had the machine last week and took the purchase option fee off and then added other fees to make up the difference so we'd still "owe" them the same amount.

This company has terrible customer service, underhanded and shady business practices designed to make them more money and take advantage of the customer and I would not recommend doing any business with them.Desired Settlement: We are happy to settle this matter and ask that Element adjust the final bill to reflect only the final 3 month lease which was in our contract and drop all the late fees and other charges that they added. All additional fees were because of their poor business practices, not because of anything we did.
