Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Yes I did in fact ask for a reimbursement on more than one occasionFirst time being in person to the secretary after explaining the situation and asking to speak with *** *** *** was not able to speak to me and the secretary told me that it was the patients responsibility to submit the physicians form and that they were not liableI asked for *** *** to call me regarding the matter and was told that she would call me and I never received a call, I gave her about a week before I called them back and again asked to speak with her regarding a reimbursement and was not able to speak with her and did not receive a call backI would need to double check my phone records but I'm almost certain I called an additional time as wellI'm rejecting this response solely because I NEVER suggested that they should write off my coinsurance/deductible in exchange for the $200, that seems wrong and hardly legal on so many levels and I don't want to accept this response and seemingly agree to thatI do however have the proof they asked for (which I told them about and offered already) and will provide that to the office and when I am reimbursed I will accept and close this complaint
Regards,

The patient did not ask for $200 reimbursement. Neither patient presented any proof of penalty imposed by her employer. The patient suggested we write off her coinsurance/deductible in exchange of $200 employee penalty for not completing her annual wellness checklist. As you know, federal and...

state laws as well as payor contracts generally prohibit waiving cost-sharing absent genuine financial hardship. If patient presents evidence of penalty imposed by her employer due to our staff member missing items on her job wellness health questionnaire, we will reimburse her the employee penalty.
