Review: The salesperson showed us tons of impressive features and said that he would give us a great discount since we were the first in the area and would like us to help advertise as happy customers. We got none of the impressive features and none of the discounts. We were promised a refund for installation charges and 5 months free services. We never got the refund for the installation and they started charging our account the first month. We have called and left countless messages. We did talk to one person and she promised a check for the installation and months of free services would be in the mail. That check never came. We are out nearly $200! The salesperson also left his contact information and promised a follow-up visit after installation. He never followed up and will not answer his phone and is voicemail is full. I am worried that this company is just out to scam people, to take their money and run.Desired Settlement: I would like our installation fee and two month's services fees refunded.

Review: I sent in my cancellation notice via certified mail and it was returned marked office vacant. I have emailed and left several messages with no response. No forwarding information provided.Desired Settlement: Honor cancellation and pick up equiptment.

Review: This by far is the worst company I've ever dealt with! I have an issue with one of my alarm sensors that repeatedly goes off every single day. I have called and called and NO ONE answers the phone! I can't even tell you how many messages I've left these people and still no return call. The ONE time I finally got through, a lady set up a service call for me on a Saturday at 3:00pm (this was 2 weeks ago)...today is 1/20/2014, and no one showed up. That Monday when I called to find out, luckily the lady answered again and said she would contact the technician to find out why he was a no-show and get back to me. She still has not gotten back to me and again... today is 1/20/2014. Now I would like to disconnect my service and STILL can't get through to these people. I've even left a message on their Facebook page and still nothing. What are customers supposed to do when they:-cannot get through to anyone?-have issues with their product and need a service call?THIS IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS! I'VE BEEN SO FURIOUS IN MY LIFE!!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for ALL of the monitoring fees paid and the equipment removed from my home immediately!

Review: Elevate or Monitronics Alarm System is taking money out of my account for an alarm system that I no longer have! They took my account information "to make monthly payments easier" and with that information, they have gone into my checking account and taken money out! I had to close my checking account to stop them from taking payments out. We found this company to be extremely hard to reach, by phone or e-mail. We are a military family who had to cancel our contract due to a move cross country. I called Elevate for 2 months prior to our military move. When there was no response from the company, we disconnected the alarm ourselves and took it with us, with hopes of reaching someone at the company. It took the monitoring company 3 days to contact us and ask us if we were having an emergency, so I question if Elevate was even monitoring our home security at all? 3 months after our move, I finally got a manger on the phone, she said that I should have "Text Messaged her". I was in shock with her response. I asked for a refund; for the months that the alarm was not hooked up; this would be 4 months. The manager agreed and the alarm equipment was placed in the original box and shipped back to the text messaging manager. As of today, I have only received 2 months of refund and Elevate is still taking money out of my account. I was forced to close down my checking account because Elevate was sneaking into my account and taking money out as a debit and as a check! I called Elevate, trying to get to the bottom of it, but there is no return call. I have tried to e-mail them and call them threw their website. I'm now seeking help threw Revdex.com. Elevate is a fraud company. They have stolen my money and created months and months of headache for me. I wish I never answered the door when they knocked! All I want is my money back and for others to be warned about Elevate. We are a military family and we are protected from stuff like this. I welcome any and all advice.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund for the months that the alarm was not hooked up. The total would be $274.95 / $54.99 x 5 months = $274.95
