Really bad company to deal with, please be very careful you get everything in writing before dealing with

Elevator Service Co., Incprovided a fully code compliant elevator system in accordance with the State of Connecticut and the National Elevator Code ASME A17.1.The equipment passed an inspection by the State of Connecticut and the Saugatuck Church received a Certificate to operate of said elevator. What [redacted] is referring to is a disconnect switch which was furnished and installed by a Sub-Contractor of [redacted] not Elevator Service CompanyElevator Service Company's contracted scope of work did not include said disconnect switchHer complaint is not valid and should be re-directed to [redacted] and/or their Sub-ContractorThis issue has been discussed verbally and by email countless times with [redacted] She has been informed that the additional work(the Disconnect Switch) provided was not even remotely a responsibility of Elevator Service CompanyFurthermore, the Maintenance Contract that [redacted] refers to is for Maintenance and has nothing to do with Elevator Service Company to alter work provided by others

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Their response does not address the complaintThe contract in question was agreed to on the understanding based on email from Keith (attached to initial complaint) that there was $+/- of labor required to complete workFurther, when I called [redacted] to discuss he explained that the job was very labor intensive and would require days of workThis tired out to a UntrueKnowing my needs were immediate and having locked my elevator so that no one else could work on it, I feel as though they acted in bad faith by artificially inflating the price and cornering me into accepting and trusting his estimateThis is a bad business practice and I feel the consumer should be protected from trades acting in bad faithLastly, the lump sum contract was to include new parts that were never installed (See initial complaint)Lastly, they never provided a signed acceptance or receipt as they left my property to confirm time on site it parts replaced per the contract I called numerous times to discuss the above and after no response by them I called the credit card company to complainAs of today I have not received a credit The reverse was temporary until we come to an agreementI am happy to pay for the time on site- if they would call to discuss I'm sure we could come to an agreement Sincerely, [redacted]

To whom it may concern, [redacted] entered into a contract with Elevator Service Company on a "Lump Sum" basis (see Attached fully executed Contract) We performed the work in accordance with said Contract on 6/18/(see Attached Work Order) [redacted] paid in accordance with said Contract on 6/10/Subsequently, [redacted] arbitrarily reversed the payment, from his Credit Card,on 7/30/and thus has paid nothing! This is in direct conflict with the Contract which [redacted] was in full agreement [redacted] President S [redacted] Elevator Service Company, Inc [redacted] Serving Connecticut (Locations in: Torrington, Waterbury & Bridgeport)New York (Southeast Region) Rhode IslandCT Lic.# ELVR RI Lic#
