Elhouri Mobile Cell Phone & Computer Repair Shop Reviews (%countItem)

Hi my name is Gustavo and I`d like to report to the Revdex.com and to the community, as a whole, about an issue that I had with a certain business, which later on became a lawsuit and is still, as I am writing this review, undergoing through the lawsuit process. For this reason, I do encourage other people, whom might read this review in the future and somehow, someway had had and possibly could have an issue/problem with this business to report, to post and to publish any and all bad experience(s) with it and/or its owner, on all types of social, advertising and propaganda media/network to inform and let people aware to not support this business, in general, for the fact that I was deceived by the owner, as some other people had been deceived, through negatives reviews posted on google about this business, that way, customers won`t have issue(s)/problem(s) and foremost avoiding "stepping" into this business.
The establishment in question is EL HOURI MOBILE CELL PHONE AND COMPUTER REPAIR SHOP located on 391 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester, MA 01604 and owned by Mr. Abderrazzek E. And through my review, I swear that all that I am stating here, are nothing more than the truth about what I experienced with this business and its owner. My story with the business started exactly on May 11th of 2018 when I had service with T - Mobile and I got a damaged screen on the phone that I purchased from them and knew about El Houri Mobile in repairing cell phones and stopped by to get it fixed. As had been stated on his negative reviews on Google, there were a couple reviews stating that at first he was a nice and polite gentleman, but later on the story changes... Anyway, brought my phone from T-Mobile to get it fixed and after a talk to Mr. Abderrazzek, he offered me to switch to a different phone and that was when he brought me a "supposedly brand new phone" which was a Google Pixel 2. I was not quite sure back then (May of 2018) how much it costed but Mr. Abderrazzek said that it was a brand new phone (which he brought to me on a sealed case) and that it was on sale for $519.32 and I was also offered to switch to a carrier that he works with called Page Plus. After a nice talk/conversation with him, I decided to trust him in buying the phone and switching from T - Mobile to Page Plus and it would look like the end of this story...
2018 goes by, 2019 comes along and starting June 1st of 2019, I was receiving auto texts messages from Page Plus that my phone would no longer be eligible for service beginning June 18th of 2019 because the phone was considered lost and/or stolen. I ignored the first text from Page Plus but a few days later, I received another auto text with the same subject that was when I decided to contact Page Plus customer service to find out the reason why I was getting those text messages. Indeed I was told by Page Plus that the information was correct and I did had arguments with the customer service that they were wrong and informed them that the phone was purchased brand new by El Houri Mobile service and that I had the receipt of purchase but Page Plus still insisted that the phone had that status of lost/stolen on their system. Comes June 19th of 2019, my service and number was COMPLETELY canceled. I managed to get back in touch with Page Plus and same exactly speech was said to me again, that was one of the representative advised to do a IMEI/MEID check online about the phone. Did not think twice and surprise.... Page Plus was right on what they were telling me and turns out that the phone, allegedly considered brand new by Mr. Abderrazzek, was stolen from Sprint!
At that moment, my first thought was driving to a Sprint store and requesting their help on this matter, which even not being their customer, the manager (hearing the unfortunate issue that was going through) promptly took his time to help me looking through Sprint system in finding out if my discovery proceeded as successful. As soon as he looked it up, the phone was "blacklisted" as stolen from Sprint. After gathering all these paperwork, my last destination was El Houri Mobile, politely I tried to talk to Mr. Abderrazzek about what I found out, that I was not happy at all that my service had literally been disconnected that day and that I was NOT sold a legit phone and he immediately told me: "You purchased this phone over a year ago, I am not going to deal with this, there is nothing that I will do about this, please leave!"
Next stop; Worcester police station and was advised by the officer to file a small case at the Worcester court which was my next destination after the police. Small case was filed on June 19th of 2019 with court date on September 25th of 2019. The date comes, we go through a mediation process first, Mr. Abderrazzek does not want to agree with mediation and the case is brought to a Magistrate for a decision. After the magistrate, we were told that the decision would be mailed to both of us about and of course, for telling the truth of what I experienced, I won the case but Mr. Abderrazzek had a right to appeal that decision within 10 days of receiving that noticed which he did and we had to go back on December 12th of 2019 for a Jury trial which turned into a trial by the judge. I know I am writing a very long review but I want to narrate/describe every single detail about this unfortunate experience with the business.
Also would like to mention, during the mediation process on September 25th of 2019, Mr. Abderrazzek was asked about selling stolen/lost phones and his immediate response to that question was (I DO CLEARLY REMEMBER HIS WORDS); "Sometimes I do not know what I am selling"!. Moving from the mediation to clerk of magistrate, Mr. Abderrazzek was asked by the clerk of magistrate(AGAIN I KEPT RECORD OF IT); "How do you report your sales to the IRS?" Mr. Abderrazzek DID NOT have a concrete answer to the magistrate question and he looked "like a deer in headlights" with that question. At that point, to me that was no doubt whatsoever that the origin of some, maybe all his products, are doubtful, not trustworthy at all.
December 12th of 2019 comes and this time Mr. Abderrazzek comes with his lawyer, whom was not present on the first time that we went in, the section goes on with his lawyer asking me question, the judge asking me question, his lawyer asking him question as well, the judge asking him question until the moment that Mr.Abderrazzek and myself have to talk to each other in front of the judge and his lawyer. When it was my turn to speak to him, I questioned Mr.Abderrazzek; "So if you are saying that this phone that is in front of us is not the one that I purchased from you, which you know it is, and based on the receipt from your store that I am holding right now, can you show and prove what I had purchased from you then? Since you are saying that it is not this phone?". Mr. Abderrazzek did not show any invoice, receipt, copy and product registration paperwork to show and, in a way, to fight my allegations. I then told him, still in front of the judge and his lawyer: "You know you are lying in front of a judge right now and that I am telling the truth here". Mr. Abderrazzek did not argue, did not have a saying and could not come up with a concrete answer to what I presented in court. And again, the judge informed us that the decision would be mailed within a few weeks from then and I received the decision with the judgement on my favor along with a letter written by the judge why he took that decision on my favor and stating that the defendant (Mr.Abderrazzek) could not present any documentary evidence of the sale of a phone to the plaintiff (myself).
Per court procedure, I was informed that both parties would have to communicate with each other to set the payment to me. Turns out that on January 20th of 2020, I contacted Mr. Abderrazzek to see how he was going to pay me and pretty much I, not only, was blackmailed by him but he was trying to set a condition in order for me to get paid, not established by the judge and/or the court. Unfortunately, Mr. Abderrazzek, told me that he would not pay me, even with the judgement by the judge, and that on the payment review date scheduled for the end of February, we will have to head to court again.
One more time, this review got to be a very long one but I did wanted to take the time in narrating everything about this extremely unfortunate experience with this business and foremost its owner to try informing the general public and reaching out to the necessary organization(s), like Revdex.com and possibly the IRS about the malpractice(s) of El Houri Mobile Phone Shop towards individual(s) whom look for his business for services and later on end up being deceived by him like it has been reported on his reviews. I hope this review will serve well to whomever decide to look for this business in the future.

Sincerely,
Gustavo
