Business Response / [redacted] (1001, 13, 2014/10/20) */ Case # XXXXXXXX message [redacted] Sincerely [redacted] Revdex.com.docx 11K Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 16, 2014/10/23) */ 10/22/ This is not a satisfactory reply to the complaint as the builder has promised several times to complete the repairs but never takes action or responsibility for the repairsOn several occasions I have spoken to the builder and each time he states he will complete the repairs but never follows through Also, an excuse is made each time we speak following our previous conversation as to why nothing has been done to rectify the problems in my homeTherefore, it is my belief that the builder will never make the repairs which is why I have begun some of the repairs myself It has been almost a year and a half since we closed on our home and winter is quickly approachingI have children to bathe and take care of as well as a wife and therefore cannot afford the cost and frustration of the pipes freezing again I am very sorry the builder cannot get in touch with his attorney but this does not justify the fact it has been almost a year and a half and absolutely no repairs have been madeTo me this is bad businessIt certainly seems that the builder and his attorney were best friends as they were talking and joking about mutual friends at the closingIt doesn't make sense that a friend would disappear and loose connection if a reasonable effort were made to contact themLastly, I wrote a check for partial coverage of the $for the shower door at the closing which was cashed almost immediatelyThere is a separate escrow account of $1,in the case that the builder failed to make the proper warranty repairsTherefore, the shower door is separate from the escrow accountThe plumbing, cracks in the leaking foundation in the basement, and missing window cranks are supposed to be covered under the year warranty and the $1,escrow accountThe $shower door is separate and something that I paid my share for In conclusion, none of the repairs I have requested to be done under the year warranty and the replacement of the shower door have even been started and I have taken it upon myself to make the repairs since it is my belief that the builder will ever make an attempt to fulfill his obligationsIn addition, the builder sold the lot directly to the south of my house to the people who own the house two lots to the south of me and owes them several things as wellI also believe he owns the lot directly north of me and the lot southwest of meI also believe he built the house northeast of me so for the statement to be made that he neither owns any property or has done any work in my subdivision other than my home is falseNice try though
