On the date of February 21, 2020 my International Prostar(commercial vehicle) was not holding air pressure. I soon pull into a love's truck stop right off the highway in Kingsville Texas. I was told to contact elias' road side service. I contacted them and was told first of what they charged for their service calls. I accepted. Upon arrival I was told that my air dryer was bad and not my air compressor. My air dyer was installed and my truck still had the same problem. I was then told after my air dryer was installed that it was my air compressor. At this time I did not trust what they were doing. I paid 467.00 for the part and then they trying to charge 1,330.00 for their service. Also Was told they could fix the air compressor but the part was going to 2,500.00. I refused. I negotiated to 1,100.00 and I thought that was too much.
Mr *** was very aware that his dryer was broke in the first place we showed him the massive leak he had there is no way of knowing the air compressor was also bad because it was not holding any pressure to build up to 120psi cause of the massive air leak from the dryer once the air dryer was repaired we found out that the air compressor was bad and mr *** just did not want to pay for the part and I don’t blame him but we were more than willing to fix his truck my dad has over 30 years of experience with trucks and is also a member of the Revdex.com (valentins 24hour roadside services) you won’t find a complaint like this. He was the one who did the job for me. Mr *** is upset because he had 2 big issues on his truck and couldn’t afford to fix it but I showed him the air leak on his Dryer and he said fix it I let him know my rates before My dad got started he was fine with it. His first problem got fixed he just couldn’t afford the compressor from the dealership that is out of my control I will not be responsible for his lack of financial problems we did what we had to do to get him on the road he refused.
