positive and she continues to try and tarnish our name and provide bogus allegations of the situation as it actually occurred. The customer has written you some 4 months after she initially came to us and 3 months since she has gotten her vehicle serviced. We are aware that this customer was not satisfied, but we feel under no obligation to accommodate her desired settlement. She has previously tried to stop payment on her credit cards and we have since resolved that matter with the appropriate parties. To follow up on her issues as presented¬- The initial recommendation given to her after the vehicle complaint was “hesitation” was to do a tune-up including but not limited to, coils and spark plugs. These parts were in fact replaced and were actually shown to her brother whom was present while the repairs were taking place. Following the tune up the vehicle still wasn’t running correctly and she was advised to replace the fuel pump. The fuel pump was replaced. The fuel filter as mentioned by the customer was never serviced. The customer did charge her bill, but at no time give us cash as well.The customer did return the vehicle feeling it had not improved. We had an outside technician run a diagnostic with vehicle specific software at NO CHARGE to the customer and it was his recommendation the turbo need replacement, we gave her an estimate for the repair of this, she decided to pick up the car as the turbo is in fact very costly. The customer picked up her vehicle and did call soon after, claiming there had been a fire that she put out. A tow, free of charge to her, was offered to bring the vehicle back to Eli’s Auto Repair so the damage and cause could in fact be seen by the owner and the necessary repairs be made. It was her choice to not return the vehicle to us at that time. At NO time did the owner say “he would refund money and pick up the tab for repairs” on a vehicle that he had not physically seen the damage claimed to be caused.The vehicle was in fact brought to [redacted] and serviced, the invoice she returned with was for a rear brake service. A coil was included as well as the plugs, if in fact they were removed and replaced because of a defect the parts should have been returned to us as we could have returned them under manufacture warranty and given her money back for those. As for getting her vehicle back from [redacted] and then coming back to Eli’s Auto Repair to install a gasket to the fuel filter, that had been neglected to be used the first time (and providing the invoice for rear brake service demanding payment), we had replaced the fuel pump, no gasket had been neglected. Now having to return the vehicle to [redacted] for further service on the fuel leak (almost 3 months later).- It is our understanding that this leak is what she claims had started the fire causing her damages. If in fact the fire and damage had been caused by a gasket not being installed, that should have been the priority when having it towed to another shop; if there was/is a fuel leak that caused this the leak should have been repaired prior to the installation of the “fire damaged parts”.Eli’s Auto Repair made every effort to accommodate this customer personally, unfortunately, the belligerence of the customer has made a solution unattainable.
