The guy was very very rude unprofesssional when we told him we did not have the money to sign up and did not give us the code to get out 3 days 2 night stay at the hotel wasted 3 hours of our time

I received a letter offering a free Android Tablet for completing a survey. Because it sounded too good to be true, I checked your website and will destroy the letter.

I was very sceptical when I received my letter about a free tablet after doing some research on elite access network and seeing the complaints about the company being a scam. However with our daughter entering college we decided she could use a free tablet for her classes, the tablet is very poor quality. When my husband and I were escorted to the first part of the presentation we noticed the smell of alcohol on a couple of the young ladies as they were greeting us as we walked by, as a business owner myself I wondered what kind of manager would allow this to take place. Then a man that introduced himself as the owner I quickly understood the lack of discipline of his employees, because he was seemingly under the influence himself. The young man that did the first part of the presentation did a phenomenal job and really got us excited about the prospect of the program, unfortunately after discussing the program further with the sales person we were forced to make a decision on the spot without a day or two to talk it over or even have access to the website to see what people who joined had to say about it. All in all I would say a scam and poorly run office.

Received a letter stating that they were a marketing company and insinuating that they were going to send me a FREE Android Tablet Computer, in exchange for answering questions, about said device, afterwards.

When I called, the woman then began to want to ask me all kinds of personal questions, and then said that I would receive a free decide, with no obligation to buy anything, but then says that I will receive it only after I fill out a long questionnaire, and go over the replies with a marketing professional.

As she was saying this, I was looking up the company "Elite Access Network", on Revdex.com, and saw not only complaints from people in Louisiana, but complaints from people in all the areas of the country as well.

I'm sure she wasn't too happy when I didn't told her never mind I wasn't interested, because I have been researching the company on the Revdex.com. I also asked her to put me on the do not call list. Obviously the old saying is true: "when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is".

Got a letter from Elite Access Network, [redacted] It looked legit, even handwritten in parts, but the reviews from the Revdex.com in OH and LA show it to be a scam. They have entered the Houston and Dallas areas. Be careful and keep a tight hold on your wallet.

I received a letter telling me to call about picking up a new tablet. Of course you don't get anything for free but wanted to find out what the gimmick was. Nice lady on the phone, explained it was a promotion and it was free, BUT . . . I had to go get it. So I asked then what - she said then you leave, try it out and take a survey. WELL it was that easy. The tablet wasn't the best for me but my daughter loves it. So although my time isn't free the tablet sure was. Its a travel company. I own 2 timeshares otherwise I might have listened.

I received a call saying that it was a no pressure environment to learn about some vacation spots. My wife and I agreed that we would come down since we both just retired and wanted to explore the continent. When we were one on one with the young man that lowered the price various times (I can't remember his name but do recall it being one that you could name a male or female) he was extremely pressuring, to the point that it felt like we were being taken advantage of, even with a military discount. After declining him a multiple times he stood up and said "you can't fix stupid" and walked off. I'm a retired desert storm vet and served over 20 years in the USAF and have never been treated so inappropriately.

Review: I received a letter in the mail promising a FREE new Android tablet to complete a survey. But the tablet was still mine to keep even if I did not complete the survey. To receive the FREE tablet I had to call a toll free number & give them the provided package code. I immediately did not believe the letter & did some research online. I found that this was a scam & had been reported in other states, such as Ohio in 2015. That particular letter was coming from somewhere in TX but said the same exact thing as the one I received. Supposedly when you call the toll free number to claim the tablet they try to sell you a vacation package.Desired Settlement: To stop the publication & sending out of this letter & any other false advertisements from this company whether it be by mail, Internet, etc...

Regards,

First off,

Don't believe everything you read from other people's experience and personal opinions. Form your own justified, genuine and knowledgeable opinions yourself. If you receive a letter like the ones mentioned in these comments, instead of ASSUMING that it is a scam, why not call the office during open hours (or leave a message) and ask if it is legit or what the catch is (if there is one[redacted]) and make your own decision on whether or not you wish to check it out for yourself and not from others.

Second,

YES, it is FREE. NO, you don't NEED to make a PURCHASE. YES, they do ask for a little of your time for a presentation. NO, it is not a scam. YES, there are thousands of satisfied members that use the program on a consistent basis and are thoroughly satisfied. Again, form your own opinions through your own experience.

Third,

All they ask for is for you to keep an open mind. Period.

Any questions, call the office and ask.

I also received a letter saying " I can get a tablet for free". After doing research, they have this scam going on in several states. It is a ploy to get you to buy vacation packages. They will also sell your information so the lovely telemarketing people can call you at all hours of the day and on weekends. This is no different than a time share. Not illegal, but very misleading. Enter at your own risk!
